Early reading. We have captured 3 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 26 interactions against 119K followers, an engagement rate of 0.022%. Posts are seen about 4.9K times each, and 0.534% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.08% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.53 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 3 posts sampled, 67% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 819 interactions, about 32x its own typical post. Only 3 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

We need strong international partners to share the load. The U.S. will keep working with the DRC to fight Ebola outbreaks and stabilize Sudan, among other priorities. Thanked Foreign Minister Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner for the DRC's partnership and leadership of the UN Security Council as president this month.

It was my pleasure yesterday to attend the luncheon hosted by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi in New Alamein City, Egypt, alongside General Abdel Fattah al-Burhan, Chairman of Sudan’s Transitional Sovereignty Council, on the sidelines of the African Union Coordination Meeting. In this context, we reaffirm the steadfast position of the United States in support of the Sudanese people and its support for preserving Sudan’s unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. We also reaffirm the United States’ continued efforts, alongside our Egyptian partners and our other regional and international partners and allies, to advance a political solution to the crisis, contribute to ending the war, and alleviate the humanitarian suffering of the Sudanese people, as called for by President Trump. These efforts aim to enable Sudan to restore its security and stability, embark on reconstruction and development, and, through an inclusive Sudanese-owned and Sudanese-led national dialogue, transition toward a civilian-led government. The United States stands ready to support all efforts leading to a comprehensive dialogue among the Sudanese political forces, leading to a preliminary road map of the future of the Sudan. We encourage the Sudanese to be inclusive and to engage actively with regional and international stakeholders to coordinate views, harmonizing efforts toward a conducive and peaceful path to ending the war in Sudan.

Excellent discussion with Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr. Badr Abdelatty on the strength of the U.S.-Egypt strategic partnership and our shared regional priorities. Egypt remains an essential partner in advancing peace, security, and prosperity across the Middle East and Africa, and we spoke especially about our shared interests in Libya, Sudan, Lebanon, and the Horn of Africa. The United States looks forward to continuing close coordination with Egypt to address shared challenges and support a more stable and prosperous region.

The G7 sentiment on Sudan is clear: the warring parties must immediately cease actions that threaten civilians. In El-Obeid specifically, we urge the RSF and allied armed groups to immediately cease any action likely to lead to further atrocities or endanger civilians, including drone strikes and impediments to humanitarian access. We also call on the SAF to stop rejecting de-escalation measures. G7 members are united in our support for ensuring the UN arms embargo applies to the entire Sudanese territory. External actors, as agreed in the Berlin principles, must cease military support to the RSF and SAF, and the belligerents must agree to a humanitarian truce and engage in direct negotiations on a path towards peace in a peaceful, unified Sudan.

Two hundred and fifty years ago today, John Hancock placed his name first on the Declaration of Independence. And not meekly. It’s easy to forget that by signing the Declaration, Hancock was committing an act of treason in the name of liberty. His signature remains a symbol of the courage of America’s founders.

“…the ongoing crisis in Sudan continues to have far reaching impacts on peace and security across the Sahel. The United States calls on the belligerents in Sudan to immediately commit to and comply with a humanitarian truce without conditions. There is no military solution to this conflict. The people of Sudan cannot wait any longer and deserve better.” - @AmbUNReform

Connections forged through U.S. exchange programs continue long after the program ends. Three Sudanese YALI alumni working in business, entrepreneurship, and technology joined 120 exchange alumni at the @USEmbassyAddis Freedom 250 Alumni Summit in Addis Ababa. Over two days, participants developed concrete 90-day action plans across agribusiness, technology, higher education, and digital health. The Sudanese alumni shared their expertise, built connections with Ethiopian alumni from @USalumnieth and business leaders, and met with the OSA team to discuss opportunities for continued alumni engagement. Their participation highlighted the power of alumni networks to advance U.S. commercial diplomacy, strengthen ties with American businesses and institutions, and create new opportunities for cross-border collaboration and economic growth.

Food insecurity is rising as conflicts and crises strain humanitarian systems worldwide. The WFP projects an additional 45 million people could face acute food insecurity globally. In the DRC, more than 16 million people need food assistance. In Sudan, conflict continues to drive the world’s largest humanitarian crisis. The U.S. is working with governments and humanitarian organizations to address food insecurity and recently announced more than $1 billion in assistance to UNICEF and WFP for global humanitarian, nutrition and food security needs.
