A typical post picks up 1 interaction against 107K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 26 original posts, its engagement rate beats 3% of 19,933 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 466 times each, and 0.215% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.434% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 26 posts sampled, 31% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 4 interactions, about 4.0x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Travel India Guide's engagement rate beats 3% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,933 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 11% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.001%, Travel India Guide sits below the 10th percentile of the 200,229 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 200,229 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,895 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 333 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

A reader asked us to put Delhi's busiest metro station next to New Delhi railway station, so here is the whole picture:New Delhi station runs about 5 lakh people a day across 16 platforms, past 6 lakh in festival weeksthe busiest metro station is Botanical Garden at about 2.7 lakh, then Kashmere Gate at 2.6 and Rajiv Chowk at 2.1Rajiv Chowk is the one everybody still names, and it has not led since March. One railway station carries double any single metro station, and the metro network carried 82,44,903 people on 17 September — sixteen times over.

Indore opened 11 km and 11 new stations on its Yellow Line last week, taking the running network to roughly 17 kmWhat's worth noticing is the shape — the Yellow Line is being built as a closed 31.5 km loop around the city rather than a line across itOn a ring there is no wrong platform, only a longer way round.

Bikaner, Rajasthan 🇮🇳Its fort is the odd one out. Junagarh sits on the flat plain rather than on a hilltop like almost every other great Rajasthani fort — the walls and moat went up between 1589 and 1594, and the city grew around them.Have you been, or does Bikaner get skipped? https://t.co/F7lLhasonM

India's first LNG-powered train ran on Sunday, and it's smaller than the headline suggests. It's an 8-coach non-AC chair car on Sabarmati–Mahesana. Its two 1,400 HP power cars were converted to run on diesel plus LNG, which can replace up to about 40% of the diesel. So it's a dual-fuel conversion, not a gas train. It cleared more than 2,000 km of field trials first.

The fee on every ticket out of Hyderabad dropped this month. From 1 September, AERA cut the user development fee on departing passengers to ₹515 domestic and ₹1,030 international, down about 31%. Arriving passengers pay ₹220 and ₹440. It's built into your fare, so the only place you'll see it is the tax breakdown.

Reading these numbers

What is Travel India Guide's engagement rate on X?
Travel India Guide (@TravelIndiaHQ) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 26 original posts from the last 30 days against 107,351 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.001%, Travel India Guide sits below the 10th percentile of the 200,229 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @TravelIndiaHQ have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 3% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,933 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @TravelIndiaHQ post?
Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1 posts per day across the measured window.
