A typical post picks up 460 interactions against 890K followers, an engagement rate of 0.052%. Measured over 12 original posts, its engagement rate beats 61% of 3,809 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 29K times each, and 1.59% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.25% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.43 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 37% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 01:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 12 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 14K interactions, about 31x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Tony Dungy's engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,809 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 64% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.052%, Tony Dungy sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,852 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,852 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,564 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 01:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Our family is taking a trip through Greece and Lauren and I just had the most amazing journey-trading the steps of the Apostle Paul from Athens to Corinth to share the gospel. Unbelievable history and scenery.🙏🏽 https://t.co/VuAoT11gY7

Our church suggested a 21-Day Fast leading up to Easter. I fasted from social media but now I’m back with the best news ever-The Good News the disciples discovered on Sunday Morning. Jesus died on the cross on Friday as payment for our sins but now He is alive! Because of that we have access to the Kingdom of Heaven—if we believe that Jesus is our Savior. John 3:16 and Luke 24:6

Lauren and I celebrate our anniversary today. Gen 2:24 says “This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” That’s what happened to us and we have become one flesh. God has given us another family and it has been a huge blessing. I am thankful for my beautiful wife and the union we have through Christ. I’m thankful for the children God has blessed us with and I’m thankful I have lived my adult life with a godly woman. Today we will celebrate all that. Happy Anniversary Lauren!❤️❤️❤️

We held our third Dungy Family Reunion in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee this weekend. It was a beautiful time of reflection and thanksgiving. God has blessed our family tremendously over the years. It was awesome to think back on the legacy that our ancestors left us. Thankful for a godly heritage from our great grandparents on down. 🙏🏽

We’re at our 13th annual Uncommon Award dinner and this year we are honoring Cooper Kupp. Cooper is a 2 time Super Bowl champ and an amazing man as well. He’s been a great leader for the Rams & the Seahawks and a true community servant. Cooper has shown that you can be at the top of your profession and also be a great family man who lives out his faith in Jesus. Congratulations Cooper!

What is Tony Dungy's engagement rate on X?
Tony Dungy (@TonyDungy) has an engagement rate of 0.052%, based on the median interactions across 12 original posts from the last 30 days against 890,265 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.052%, Tony Dungy sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,852 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @TonyDungy have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,809 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @TonyDungy post?
Most posts go out around 01:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.43 posts per day across the measured window.
