The AI Colony engagement report
@TheAIColony - 231K followers on X
Measured over 29 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 1, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 330 interactions against 231K followers, an engagement rate of 0.143%. Measured over 29 original posts, its engagement rate beats 66% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 64K times each, and 0.517% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 27.7% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 4.3 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 73% of days. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 29 posts sampled, 66% carry an image or video, 17% are part of a thread and 21% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.2K interactions, about 3.6x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #ai3d, #deemostech, #hyper3d.

Compared with accounts its own size
The AI Colony's engagement rate beats 66% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 27% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.143%, The AI Colony sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,313 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.677%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 08:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 66% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 21% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 66% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 21% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 303 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

🌍 What if an AI-generated world didn’t end after a few seconds—but kept running for hours, responded to every move, let you attack, cast spells, shoot, or summon storms, and continued evolving through AI agents? That’s LingBot-World 2.0: our open-source real-time interactive world model, scaling to 720p/60fps in our full setup. Today, we’re open-sourcing 3 more models: 🔹 LingBot-World 2.0 Small (1.3B) 🔹 LingBot-World 2.0 Bidirectional 🔹 LingBot-World 2.0 Causal Pretrain And now, with our 1.3B Small Model, that world can run in real time on a single consumer GPU. 🧵

AI video just crossed another line. Kling 4.0 isn’t just making one character move realistically anymore. This fight has multiple characters moving at once, huge actions happening across the frame, AND a moving camera, and somehow, the whole scene holds together. This is where AI video starts getting scary good.

Xiaomi’s MiMo V2.6 Pro just landed at 46 on Artificial Analysis’ Intelligence Index, making it the highest-scoring open-weights model there right now but the number that caught our attention is $0.13 per Intelligence Index task, enough to put it directly on the intelligence-cost Pareto frontier. What makes the release more interesting is how Xiaomi got there. Rather than relying on a larger pretraining run, V2.6 leans heavily on post-training and reinforcement-learning environments built around tasks, interaction and evaluation. Xiaomi has also released thousands of those RL environments alongside the model. Benchmarks will move, but pushing this much capability while keeping the cost this low feels like the part worth watching especially if the research and agentic workloads Xiaomi is showing translate outside controlled demos.

everyone is using GPT-6 Astra to make games... i had it build me a robot prototyper i type what robot i want, and it builds the whole thing and tells me how to make it real one prompt: "prototype me a full Microduck" it designed every part, checked nothing crashes into itself when it moves, did the motor maths so the thing can actually stand up, and handed me the parts list with prices and the step by step assembly not a render, a robot i can build this weekend every piece is ready to send straight to a 3D printer, and the motors and screws come with prices and where to buy them took me 45 minutes and 5 prompts to build (burnt all my limits) process below

- What is The AI Colony's engagement rate on X?
- The AI Colony (@TheAIColony) has an engagement rate of 0.143%, based on the median interactions across 29 original posts from the last 30 days against 230,905 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.143%, The AI Colony sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,313 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @TheAIColony have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 66% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @TheAIColony post?
- Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 4.27 posts per day across the measured window.
