العم محمد إبراهيم العيسى … النور الذي لن ينطفئ رحل العم محمد إبراهيم العيسى ... رحل بهدوء الرجال الكبار، أولئك الذين لا يرحلون فعلا، بل يخلدون في ذاكرة القلوب قبل أن تكتب أسماؤهم على شواهد الحجر. كان رحمه الله وجها مضيئا في مجالس أهل الكويت، يدخل المكان فيضيئه بابتسامته المعهودة كأنما يحمل معه دفء الألفة وطمأنينة العشرة، كان بين الناس روح المجلس، نكهته وميزانه، وحين يتكلم يصغي الجميع، وحين يضحك تضحك معه الأرواح قبل الوجوه. عرفناه بسجيته البسيطة وكرمه الهادئ، وتواضعه الأصيل، لم يكن بحاجة إلى أضواء، فالنور كان ينبع منه، ومن جالسه يشعر بأنه يجلس مع أب حنون، ومن عرفه شعر أنه يعرفه منذ زمن طويل، كان قريبا من القلوب بصدق لا بتكلف، حاضرا في كل موقف يحتاج رجلا، وصادقا في كل كلمة تحتاج ضميرا. كان من رجالات الأوائل الذين بنيت بهم القيم والذين لا تقاس حياتهم بما جمعوا من مال أو جاه، بل بما زرعوا من أثر في نفوس الناس، وترك خلفه سيرة طيبة تتناقلها الألسن، وذكريات عامرة بالحب، وقلوبا تدعو له في السر والعلن. إن فقده وجع لا تتحمله الجبال، وجع يتسلل بصمت، لا يحتاج إلى كلمات ليفهم، لأن بعض الغياب لا يرى بالعين إنما يحس في ثقل الأيام، في الفراغ الذي يتركه المقربون حين يغيبون، ذلك الفراغ الذي لا يملؤه أحد مهما ازدحم المكان بالناس، كأن الوجود نفسه يفقد شيئا من توازنه حين يغيب رجل مثله. إنه الغياب الذي يترك خلفه سكونا ثقيلا، وفراغا تشعر به القلوب قبل الأماكن، سكونا يشبه لحظة انطفاء المصباح الأخير في بيت كان عامرا بالدفء، وكأن المكان نفسه حزن على من كان يمنحه النور. غير أننا نرضى بما رضي الله، رضى يشوبه الشوق، وطمأنينة يغلفها الحنين، فالموت قدر المؤمنين، لكنه أيضا موعد اللقاء الذي لا يؤجل، والعزاء كل العزاء أن رجلا مثله لا يموت تماما، يمضي بجسده لكن يبقى أثره يهمس في الذاكرة، وابتسامته تسكن بين الضلوع، وسيرته تسير معنا في طرق الحياة، كأنها تقول: "لا تكثروا البكاء، فقد أصبحت في رحمة أوسع وفي دار أبقى". اللهم ارحمه رحمة تليق بطيب قلبه، وبلل قبره بالسكينة كما بلل قلوبنا بالمحبة، واجعل له في دارك مقاما يليق بصفائه ونبله، واجمعنا به في مستقر رحمتك حيث لا فراق بعده.
