State House Kenya engagement report
@StateHouseKenya - 2.3M followers on X
Measured over 152 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 26, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 13 interactions against 2.3M followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 152 original posts, its engagement rate beats 8% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 4.4K times each, and 0.295% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.191% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 5.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 77% of days. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 152 posts sampled, 98% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 766 interactions, about 59x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
State House Kenya's engagement rate beats 8% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 21% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.001%, State House Kenya sits below the 10th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 2% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 98% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | -3% | -3% to -2% | 54K |
- 2% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 98% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 88 characters, which falls in the 80 - 180 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 80 to 180 characters run 3% below the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

PRESIDENT RUTO TO TOUR COAST REGION President William Ruto will issue nearly 200,000 title deeds across the Coast region and launch construction of a new refinery in Lamu as he begins a development tour of the region on Saturday. The tour-covering Taita-Taveta, Kwale, Kilifi, Mombasa, Tana River, and Lamu counties-will provide the President with an opportunity to assess the progress of Government projects in the region while engaging with residents and local leaders on development priorities. The issuance of the title deeds is part of the Governmentβs plan to distribute 500,000 land ownership documents as it seeks to address longstanding squatter and other land-related challenges that have affected communities in the Coast region for decades. President Ruto will begin the tour of the region in Taita-Taveta County on Saturday, where he is expected to issue 31,318 title deeds to residents of Mwatate and Voi constituencies. He will then travel to Kwale County on Monday, where 94,175 title deeds will be issued to beneficiaries in Lunga Lunga, Msambweni and Kinango constituencies. In Kilifi County, he is scheduled to issue 36,826 title deeds to residents of Kaloleni, Rabai, Ganze, Kilifi South and Malindi constituencies. He will also provide 4,360 title deeds to beneficiaries in Mombasa County, while a further 22,770 title deeds will be distributed in Lamu and Tana River counties. The programme is part of President Ruto's administrationβs broader efforts to resolve historical and administrative land challenges in the Coast region, where disputes and uncertainty over land ownership have remained a longstanding concern. The documents will give beneficiaries formal ownership of and enable them to make greater use of their land for economic development activities. For many beneficiaries, the title deeds are expected to provide greater certainty over land ownership after years of waiting for formal documentation. During the working tour, President Ruto is also expected to commission completed development projects, inspect ongoing ones and launch new projects in the six counties. Importantly, the President will break ground for the $16 billion (KSh2 trillion) East Africa Refinery in Lamu, a project to be jointly undertaken by the Kenyan Government and Nigerian billionaire Aliko Dangote. The refinery is expected to process crude from Lokichar, Turkana County, and supply refined petroleum products to markets across East and Central Africa. The refinery will enhance Kenyaβs energy security by ensuring reliable supply of petroleum products while creating more than 500,000 jobs.

π¦ππ₯ ππ«π§ππ‘π¦ππ’π‘, π‘ππ₯π’π, π’ππ§ π΅ - π£ππ¦ The government has set aside KSh25 billion to compensate people affected by the construction of the Narok-Bomet-Kisumu of the Naivasha-Kisumu- Malaba Standard Gauge Railway project. Kenya Railways Corporation Managing Director Philip Mainga said the National Land Commission is conducting public participation ahead of the compensation of affected landowners Mainga said the NLC has also granted Kenya Railways early access to some sections of land as negotiations and valuation with affected landowners continue. The affected landowners have expressed willingness to participate in the public participation process and work with the government to ensure the compensation negotiations are smooth. Speaking during a public participation session, Mzee Stephen Ruto of Kapkesosio village said the community welcomes the project, adding that it will connect Bomet County to the rest of the country, the East African region and beyond. Construction of SGR phase 2B is picking up pace, with Narok among the areas where works started early. The railway will cover about 98 kilometers in Narok County, with the wider line passing through Bomet, Nyamira, Kericho, Homa Bay, and Kisumu counties. Mainga said the project is being developed as an SGR Economic Belt, with logistics hubs and value-addition facilities planned along the corridor. In Narok, the focus will be on agriculture, livestock and tourism, while Bomet and Kericho will have logistics hubs focused mainly on tea. Kisumu is also expected to have a logistics hub for fish, supporting storage, and the movement of fish to other markets. The railway is expected to support the movement of locally produced goods, including tea, coffee, and sugar, to the Port of Mombasa for export. As part of the governmentβs Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda, the project is also expected to create jobs and support small businesses. Construction of the railway was launched by President William Ruto on March 19, 2026, with the project expected to take approximately two years to complete. The Narok station is expected to be partially complete by June next year.

- What is State House Kenya's engagement rate on X?
- State House Kenya (@StateHouseKenya) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 152 original posts from the last 30 days against 2,306,949 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.001%, State House Kenya sits below the 10th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @StateHouseKenya have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 8% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @StateHouseKenya post?
- Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 5.1 posts per day across the measured window.
