A typical post picks up 189 interactions against 217K followers, an engagement rate of 0.087%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 57% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 7.4K times each, and 2.54% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.42% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 57% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 14 posts sampled, 50% carry an image or video and 36% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.3K interactions, about 6.9x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #cjpflopshow, #congress, #garjana.

Compared with accounts its own size

शुभ्रास्था | Shubhrastha's engagement rate beats 57% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 70% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.087%, शुभ्रास्था | Shubhrastha sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

And who gives these “progressive” women the right to decide what other women should feel or what should be rage-worthy for them? You might be okay with the possibility of being raped by a “Muslim ruler” - her words, not mine - because that supposedly fits your hierarchy of survival and values. Someone else might be willing to accept death on their own terms, according to their own code of life and death. So who gets to decide what another woman should consider worth raging over? And who gets to impose a five-day deadline on someone else’s grief, anger, or outrage? You don’t get to speak for all women simply because you believe your priorities are more progressive. https://t.co/z158weB581

Just like that actress who genuinely seems convinced that India is waiting breathlessly for her next intellectual revelation, I chose to wait a few days before saying this. There is something profoundly vulgar about sitting centuries away, in the safety of hindsight, and reducing the choices of Rajput women to the vocabulary of the body. The Ranis who chose jauhar did not exist merely as bodies waiting to be interpreted through someone else’s politics. Whatever one thinks of the practice today, those women understood their circumstances, made choices within the world they inhabited, and acted upon convictions that were theirs. Their courage, however alien it may seem to a modern mind, cannot simply be stripped of agency and translated into the language of sexual anatomy. Yet here we are - a woman perched comfortably on the high chair of modern enlightenment, dispensing retrospective gyan, while reducing Veeranganas to nothing more sophisticated than vaginas. What an extraordinary poverty of imagination! You do not honour women by denying them the capacity to possess convictions you find uncomfortable. You do not liberate historical women by insisting that their decisions can only be understood through your preferred modern vocabulary. And you certainly do not demonstrate intellectual superiority by replacing their minds with their bodies. Vagina or not, you crass woman, the obscenity is not in what those women chose. It is in your inability to imagine them as anything more than their sex. Those women had minds. They had convictions. They had courage. They had an understanding of dignity shaped by their own time, their own world and their own circumstances. You are entitled to disagree with their choices. But you will be intellectually inoculated in democratic spaces if you erase their agency simply because their conception of dignity does not flatter yours. That is not intellectualism. That is historical arrogance dressed up as enlightenment.

India is quietly developing technologies that could bypass GPS jamming and detect radio signals that conventional receivers miss. This could be possible if DRDO's bet on Rydberg quantum RF sensors and quantum gyroscopes goes as planned. @indiaBUILDwiki 🧵 https://t.co/SC4lHMy5Oo

This video is from last night at Chitkara University, where a protest was taking place over reports that two girls were missing from the university. According to the police statement, no one at the university was able to identify the girls or confirm their identities. It is possible that the missing-person reports may even turn out to be a rumour. But if they are eventually proven to be true, there is certainly something serious to be concerned about. What worries me even more is that this video and the incident at Jantar Mantar a few months ago seem to have one thing in common protests turning into damage to public property. Protesting is the right of every Indian citizen. But does that right include damaging public property? Honestly, seeing such incidents makes me wonder have we completely lost hope of expecting even basic sense of responsibility from our younger generation? If this is the direction we are heading in, what kind of future are we really building? @Shubhrastha

Dear friends in media, I have zero interest or priority in defending or condemning anything actresses like Swara Bhaskar speak on issues of historical and/or intellectual and/or anthropological and/or sociological and/or political and/or ideological concerns. So pls refrain from calling me to speak on these issues. 🙏

Those who dismiss the entire Manusmriti are making an argument no more sophisticated than those who dismiss Rahul Gandhi or Priyanka Gandhi Vadra merely because of their Italian maternal heritage. Two things can be true at once. Manusmriti contains passages that are deeply controversial by contemporary moral and constitutional standards. Yet it remains an important historical text within the larger corpus of Dharmashastra and Smriti literature. It is true that Rahul or Priyanka can be understood - or dismissed - solely through their Italian inheritance. After all we have enough and more Indians, why lean on them? If the above argument offends the Nehru/Gandhi family bhakts, why then, should an entire civilizational corpus be reduced to a handful of passages that offend contemporary sensibilities? And intellectual engagement requires something more demanding than selecting the most inflammatory passage and turning it into a political prop. The right response to a difficult text is not hagiography or blacklisting. It is reading. Let’s read Manusmriti as Hindus and post passages and shlokas that appeal to us the most!

What is शुभ्रास्था | Shubhrastha's engagement rate on X?
शुभ्रास्था | Shubhrastha (@Shubhrastha) has an engagement rate of 0.087%, based on the median interactions across 14 original posts from the last 30 days against 217,211 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.087%, शुभ्रास्था | Shubhrastha sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,374 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Shubhrastha have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 57% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Shubhrastha post?
Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.8 posts per day across the measured window.
