For 47 years, you have endured unimaginable hardships, watching your beautiful country fall under the control of an oppressive regime that has denied you your rights, your dignity and your prosperity. I see the youth, the men and women from every corner of this great land, standing up and speaking out with a united voice that can no longer be ignored. Your courage, your strength and your resilience fill my heart with pride. You are not alone in your struggle. The eyes of the world are upon you and your call for freedom and justice resonates beyond the borders of Iran. Do not fear, for the darkness of oppression cannot last forever. در هر لحظه از این روزهای دشوار، اندوه مادران، پدران، خواهران، برادران و دوستان قربانیان و زخمیشدگان حوادث اخیر ایران با من بوده است. از صمیم قلب و با تمام وجود، خود را شریک غم و رنج آنان میدانم و برای تمامی مجروحان شفای عاجل و بازگشت به آغوش خانوادههایشان را آرزو میکنم. هرگز فراموش نمیکنم که هزاران نفر از فرزندان این سرزمین همچنان در زندانها به سر میبرند و در رنج و بیعدالتی روزگار میگذرانند. اندیشه آنان نیز پیوسته با من است. گرچه دور از وطن و دور از شما هستم، اما به هر یک از ایرانیان آزادیخواه که با شجاعت و امید برای آیندهای روشن ایستادگی میکنند، افتخار میکنم. ایمان دارم که نور بر تاریکی پیروز خواهد شد و ایران ما روزی نه چندان دور به آزادی آرامش و سربلندی خواهد رسید. فرح پهلوی

هم میهنان عزیزم، امسال چهل و هفتمین سال درگذشت شاهنشاه ایران در مصر است، و در تمامی این سال ها حضور پر شکوه و چشمگیر شما نشانه بارزی از ارج نهادن به خاطره آن پادشاه بزرگ و خاندان پهلوی است. جمهوری مصر و روسای جمهور آن از همان ابتدا، تا به امروز، همیشه و با ابراز محبتی برادرانه نسبت به خانواده پهلوی، در کنار ما بوده اند، و من برای همیشه از این همه لطف و دوستی بی شائبه سپاسگزار و قدردان هستم. امسال دولت مصر، به دلیل مسائل امنیتی و همینطور اوضاع آشفته و درهم منطقه ای، صلاح در آن دیده که این مراسم در سطح دیداری محدود و تنها برای خاندان پهلوی انجام پذیرد. رعایت کامل چنین تصمیمی برای من، همه فامیل پهلوی، و همچنین همه ایرانیان راستین و میهن پرست بطور کامل لازم است، و توقع من از همه هم میهنانم احترام و ارج گذاری به این تصمیم ملت و دولت دوست و برادر ماست. امسال، و در غیاب شما، من نه تنها از طرف خودم، بلکه به نمایندگی از سوی همه شما، به روان پاک شاهنشاه آریامهر درود خواهم فرستاد. با سپاس از پشتیبانی روز افزون همه شما، و در انتظار پیروزی نور بر تاریکی، فرح پهلوی

Soon you will celebrate freedom together in Iran My dear compatriots, Your courage, patriotism and self sacrifice in these days have earned the respect of people around the world and millions across different countries have declared their support for you. I know that those who thrive on darkness, out of fear of hearing your voice, have cut off your channels of communication with the outside world. Your message is louder than anything that can be silenced by such actions. I firmly believe that the epic scenes of your protests will sooner or later break through the wall of censorship and the true dimensions of what you have done in these days will inspire even greater astonishment and admiration worldwide. The images that have reached the outside world in recent hours amid the blackout of communication tools of the killing of innocent protesters in Iran have broken my heart as a mother. Each child of this nation whose blood is shed revives for me the unbearable grief of losing my own children. I wish patience and strength for the mothers and fathers of Iran and consider myself united with them in mourning. I also extend my heartfelt condolences to all compatriots who have lost their loved ones in this national uprising and I wish health and recovery for the wounded and injured during these days. At this critical juncture in Iran’s history, once again to the armed forces of Iran remember that the survival of no government and the preservation of no interest can justify the shedding of your compatriots blood. Hear the cry of anger and the roar of the protesters. Before it is too late, join your brothers and sisters and do not tie your fate to that of the killers. The free Iran of tomorrow belongs to your children as well, by spilling the blood of your compatriots, do not destroy your own future and that of your families. Know that the story of these days in our Iran will be recorded forever in the pages of history and disgrace will remain for those whose bullets tore through the chests of their compatriot brothers and sisters.
