A typical post picks up 334 interactions against 1.7M followers, an engagement rate of 0.02%. Measured over 104 original posts, its engagement rate beats 57% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 15K times each, and 2.20% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.902% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 10.6 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 50% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 104 posts sampled, 64% carry an image or video and 23% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 24K interactions, about 71x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #99countymeetings, #aksen, #arsen.

Compared with accounts its own size

Senate Republicans's engagement rate beats 57% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 78% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.02%, Senate Republicans sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.08%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,654 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,977 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

BREAKING: I'm told by federal source that the suspect arrested in Fairfax County, VA for the stabbing murder of a mother near a jogging trail in Great Falls, VA is a Salvadoran illegal alien who was caught and released at the border by the Biden admin in El Paso, TX in April 2024. Fairfax County Police announced the arrest of 19-year-old Alexis Antonio Cedillos-Campos this morning in connection to the stabbing killing of Carmen Lizet Puch on Monday and released a photo of his arrest. I've also included a photo of Cedillos-Campos from when he was in Border Patrol custody in 2024, courtesy of a federal source. NBC Washington reports Puch was 42-years-old and had a young daughter.

Zohran Mamdani is being sued by a group representing immigrant-owned grocers in New York City over the mayor's plan to open 5 city-run grocery stores throughout NYC. The group says small businesses will be forced to compete against stores funded by their own tax dollars who aren't competing on a level playing field. One East Harlem grocer says a planned city-run store directly across the street could put his family's 25-year-old business under. @MadisonAlworth | @AmericaNewsroom @DanaPerino

Illegal aliens do NOT belong in our nation -- and we will stop at nothing to get them OUT. We are undeterred. We will continue finding, arresting, and removing criminals like these from our homeland:

Let’s be clear about why Trump is trying to restrict mail-in voting. He's trying to make it harder for people to vote. He thinks it's good for him if the person working two jobs has a hard time voting, or the person who has to travel a long way to vote. The bottom line is that he doesn’t like democracy. Oh, and by the way, you know who seems to always vote by mail…..Donald Trump.

BREAKING: DHS confirms to @FoxNews that 3 of the 9 men arrested by police sanctuary Fairfax County, VA in a child sex sting operation are illegal aliens with lengthy criminal histories, including sodomy and solicitation of prostitution of minors, who were caught & released at the border by the Obama administration. The men thought they were meeting children for sex, but they were undercover police. Per DHS, they include: Salvadoran illegal alien Wilmer Alexander Aguilar Cruz, caught and released near Hidalgo, TX by the Obama admin in 2012. Rap sheet includes solicitation of a child, indecent liberties, proposed sex acts, sodomy, extortion, and threat to burn. Salvadoran illegal alien Reyban Leono Sanchez Hernandez, who was caught & released at the Texas border by the Obama admin in 2023. Has prior criminal history including solicitation of prostitution from a minor. Illegal alien Henry Adalberto Flores Herrera, whose criminal history includes felony solicitation of prostitution from a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor, driving under the influence of liquor, and a traffic offense. ICE placed detainers on them with Fairfax County, but FOX 5 DC reports all three of them have already been released by the county with low bonds of $3,000 and $5,000 with ICE detainers ignored. DHS statement to FOX: “These criminal illegal aliens were hand-delivered to Fairfax County communities by President Obama, who, like Sleepy Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, unleashed millions of unvetted illegal aliens into American communities and abused the law to do so.…Under Governor Spanberger, Virginia has become a hotbed of illegal alien crime.”

NEW: Federal judge Brian Murphy has lifted his stay of the termination of TPS for Ethiopians in the US. All Trump admin TPS terminations are now in effect for the below countries, which totals more than 1 million people. El Salvador is next. TPS for El Salvador is set to end on September 9th and would affect roughly 170,000 Salvadorans in the US who have had TPS protections since 2001.

What is Senate Republicans's engagement rate on X?
Senate Republicans (@SenateGOP) has an engagement rate of 0.02%, based on the median interactions across 104 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,684,557 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.02%, Senate Republicans sits above the 25th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @SenateGOP have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 57% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @SenateGOP post?
Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 10.57 posts per day across the measured window.
