A typical post picks up 2.3K interactions against 288K followers, an engagement rate of 0.806%. Measured over 22 original posts, its engagement rate beats 91% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 28K times each, and 8.42% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 9.57% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 22 posts sampled, 68% carry an image or video and 9% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 16K interactions, about 6.8x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #banglapolitics, #bjpvstmc, #mamatabanerjee.

Compared with accounts its own size

Saket Gokhale's engagement rate beats 91% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 95% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.806%, Saket Gokhale sits above the 75th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.678% to 2.55%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 204,956 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 5% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 374 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Gyanesh Kumar is Amit Shah’s man since 2018. He was appointed as CEC by Shah personally. Gyanesh gone = Shah gone. And that’s precisely why Tadipar’s Delhi Police are behaving like third-class goons.

Remember the IAS officer who allegedly shut down a stadium in Delhi & threw out athletes just because he wanted to walk his dogs? Since January, he has been appointed as Commissioner of Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD). It is under his watch that yesterday's tragedy happened in Shantiniketan where a building that housed students collapsed & 6 people are dead as of this morning. Amit Shah should explain what is so special about this officer that he was made MCD Commissioner. What exactly makes him Amit Shah's favorite and why has he faced no action for yesterday's avoidable tragedy?

An ASI from Delhi Police told me yesterday that there were direct orders from DCP New Delhi to assault protesters while detaining them. He said that @DCPNewDelhi had specifically directed beating up of protestors in order to “instill fear” so that they don’t come back. Can you explain this illegal order @DCPNewDelhi? Is this your own idea or a direction from Amit Shah?

Two young men on their way to join a peaceful protest were arrested & have been in Tihar Central Jail for 5 days now. This would be unbelievable even in the worst of democracies. Why are we allowing this travesty? If you don’t speak up for them, there’s gonna be no one standing up for you tomorrow. RELEASE @SauravDassss & @AshutoshRanka NOW!

Election Commission allowing a brazen money laundering of ₹1700 crores through dummy political parties in Gujarat was EXPOSED by BBC. Is it because the BJP is involved? If yes, this is the crime of the century. ECI MUST come clean immediately and explain this mystery Watch 👇 https://t.co/wVp7i8Ggf6

SHOCKING: CRPF claims use of pellet guns on protestors in Delhi is NOT a human rights violation I’d filed an RTI with Rapid Action Force (which is a part of CRPF) asking for information related to the use of pellet guns on unarmed protestors on 20th July during the Jantar Mantar protests. Under law, CRPF is exempt from RTI Act EXCEPT in cases related to corruption or human rights violations. In response to my RTI: 👉 CRPF refused information claiming that use of pellet guns on protestors in Delhi is NOT a human rights violation 👉 When this was appealed, the appellate authority AGAIN denied the info claiming the same excuse First the Modi-Shah Govt denied that pellets were used. Then, when exposed, they refused to give details of total number of victims. And now, it is BAFFLING that use of pellet guns (banned under international law) on unarmed youth in India’s capital is NOT considered to be a human rights violation by Amit Shah’s CRPF. In any civilized democracy, this is a shocking argument to make. I shall now be submitting this to the Hon’ble Supreme Court to request the court’s view on it.

Shame that Modi used the occasion of Independence Day to take cheap shots calling his opponents “Dimaagi (Mental) Naxals”. Instead of apologizing to the youth for using violence & pellet guns on them, Modi is peddling his usual nonsense. Dump the ego, Mr PM. It’s not helping.

New ECI trick to hide information: Gyanesh Kumar's ECI is now trying a new trick to avoid furnishing information that can be inconvenient to him. RTI requests are being rejected basically claiming that "Public Information Officers of ECI have other work and are busy" This is nonsense because: 👉 Election work is ECI's permanent job. If that excuses delays/not giving info, ECI would never have to reply. 👉 ECI must appoint as many CPIOs as needed. Understaffing is ECI's failure, not the citizen's burden 👉 It has been RULED by CIC several times (e.g. Shiv Babu v MCD) that staff shortage and work overload are not excuses that can be given for not replying in time or for not providing information Basically Gyanesh Kumar is now in panic mode and is using all kind of excuses to avoid getting caught. Question is: HOW BIG are the scams at the ECI that they would go to any extent to hide information?

What is Saket Gokhale's engagement rate on X?
Saket Gokhale (@SaketGokhale) has an engagement rate of 0.806%, based on the median interactions across 22 original posts from the last 30 days against 288,290 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.806%, Saket Gokhale sits above the 75th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
