Raphaël Bloch 🐳 engagement report
@Raph_Bloch - 61K followers on X
Measured over 20 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 29, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 18 interactions against 61K followers, an engagement rate of 0.029%. Measured over 20 original posts, its engagement rate beats 27% of 20,445 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 1.9K times each, and 0.929% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.17% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 77% of days. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 20 posts sampled, 75% carry an image or video, 25% are part of a thread and 80% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.1K interactions, about 172x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Raphaël Bloch 🐳's engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,445 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 5 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 35% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.029%, Raphaël Bloch 🐳 sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 75% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 80% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 75% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 80% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 891 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I love vacation. Not for the rest, but for the distance it gives you. It's the one time you actually stop and see how far you've come, instead of just running to the next thing. Coming back this September, that's exactly what hits me. We launched @TheBigWhale_ in 2022 with @gregory_raymond & @DG2, when the crypto market was still mostly retail: people trading, speculating, watching charts. Today, it's a corporate and infrastructure market: banks, asset managers, fintechs and corporates building the rails and the products, not punting on price. The market changed shape entirely, and so did we. We started as a media company: cover the news, publish it, grow the audience. Then news got commoditized. Anyone can follow headlines, write a report or, with AI, generate one in minutes. So one year ago, we made a call: stop competing on something that was becoming a commodity, and go all in on what can't be copied. Private data. Our network. Our events. Years of relationships with the people actually building and allocating in this space. We cut news and rebuilt the company around one thing: market intelligence, not content. And we went all in on AI to build it. TBW is AI-first today, not because it's trendy, but because AI is the only way to turn 150+ clients' worth of private signal into intelligence fast enough to matter. Today, we serve 150+ clients with private information and a network they can't get anywhere else. That's something we couldn't have said three years ago. This is my 5th September at TBW, and I don't think we've ever been better positioned. Three things landing this fall: 👉 The Geneva Summit, Nov 12-13. 300+ finance leaders in one room, in the same rooms where, over four years, every single one of our clients has attended at least one event before signing. 👉 Our App, launching in September. Built to plug clients directly into our network, insights and events. Not another feed to scroll, but a tool to work from. 👉 The next releases of our Market Intel Machine: benchmarks across digital assets and agentic finance, industry by industry. Banks, fintechs, asset managers, insurers. The market moves too fast for intelligence to be a report you read once and file away. We're not doing this because digital assets and agentic finance are a niche. We're doing it because they're becoming the future of finance, and the companies that see their market clearly are the ones that move first. I'm incredibly proud of this team and what we've built across Europe, from Paris, London and Geneva to Brussels, Lisbon and Novi Sad, and beyond. Never been a better time to build in this industry. Onwards. Our next event is in Paris 🇫🇷, September 24: https://t.co/qpareIrd6G

Revolut has just launched a euro stablecoin using Stripe’s infrastructure. We’re talking about the largest neobank (alongside Nubank) and the biggest fintech company in the world. Neither of these companies existed 20 years ago. Financial infrastructure is undergoing a full-scale revolution, and it’s only going to accelerate.

Breaking: The European Central Bank is changing its tune on stablecoins. It is potentially one of the most important pieces of news of the year for the sector in Europe. In its answer to the consultation on the MiCA review, the Eurosystem (the ECB plus the 27 national central banks) recommends scrapping the rule that forces issuers to hold 30% of their reserves as bank deposits, and 60% for the largest ones. MiCA was adopted by the European Parliament and the member states. The ECB was not the one writing the law, but it pushed hard for a restrictive regime from the start. The result is well known: @tether left the European market in 2026. @paoloardoino explained why in an interview with @TheBigWhale_: "What particularly bothers us about this specific part of MiCA are the very strong constraints on how you can manage your reserves. If you are a small stablecoin issuer, 30% of your reserves must consist of cash deposits at a bank. In the case of stablecoins of systemic size like ours, this requirement rises to 60%!" Those who stayed, such as @circle, @SG_Forge or @Schuman_io, struggle to make money and to grow the euro stablecoin market: a large part of their reserve sits in bank accounts that pay little, and they cannot pay any yield to holders directly. The only way around it is DeFi, for example through lending protocols like @Morpho, where holders can lend their stablecoins and earn a return. The numbers speak for themselves: euro stablecoins add up to less than €1bn, against about $320bn for dollar stablecoins, which account for 99.7% of the market. 🤯 Two things worth noting. First, the @ecb is not doing this for the issuers. It is doing it for the banks, which it sees as too exposed to deposits that can leave overnight. And in the same document it tightens its position on multi-issuance, the model Circle uses. Second, and most important: the timing. This opening comes just as the ECB moves forward with Pontes, its system for settling tokenised transactions between institutions in central bank money. "The ECB did not want stablecoins to develop in the EU before it started moving on its own system," a senior banker told The Big Whale. "Now that they are moving, they are ready to open up the field a bit more." Will the review go further, for example on paying yield to holders? And above all: is it already too late for Europe?

€700M. That's what European banks will spend on digital asset infrastructure in 2027: https://t.co/N1WsKNTr2G Two thirds of it won't touch a server. It goes to people. Most banks don't know this yet. One of the largest in Europe just did, on a call with us this morning. Their words: "We're clearly not there yet on investment. We need independent data like this. Otherwise everything comes from competitors or biased, paid sources." That sentence is the entire reason @TheBigWhale_ exists. Digital finance is still a black box. Buyers don't know who's serious. Sellers don't know where the money's actually going. Everyone's guessing with someone else's numbers. We measure the market itself. Size, capital flows, who's building what, on both sides of the trade. Buy side and sell side. That's not a report. That's the infrastructure this market needs to actually grow. You don't make a €50M decision on vibes. Nobody else tracks this market independently. Nobody else goes this deep. 150+ companies already make decisions off our numbers. Not because we sold them a story. Because when tens of millions are on the line, data is the only argument that survives the room.

A typical post picks up 18 interactions against 61K followers, an engagement rate of 0.029%. Measured over 20 original posts, its engagement rate beats 27% of 20,445 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. - What is Raphaël Bloch 🐳's engagement rate on X?
- Raphaël Bloch 🐳 (@Raph_Bloch) has an engagement rate of 0.029%, based on the median interactions across 20 original posts from the last 30 days against 61,143 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.029%, Raphaël Bloch 🐳 sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @Raph_Bloch have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,445 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @Raph_Bloch post?
- Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.53 posts per day across the measured window.
