چقدر باید ظرف وجدان یک انسان خالی شده باشد که با پول مالیهدهندگان آمریکایی رسانه تأسیس کند، در دوران جمهوریت در افغانستان از فضای آزاد، قراردادها، امتیازات و فرصتهای همان نظام بهره ببرد، باجگیری رسانهای را به ابزار نفوذ و ثروت تبدیل کند، از پرداخت مالیات شانه خالی نماید و در سایه همان جمهوریت به قدرت، شبکه سازی و ثروت برسد؛ اما امروز با نهایت وقاحت و بیپروایی به توجیه و سفیدنمایی گروهی بپردازد که تمام همان ارزشها و آزادیها را نابود کردهاند. شرمآور است که در افغانستان امروز، میلیونها زن از حق آموزش، کار و حضور آزادانه در جامعه محروم شدهاند، دختران از مکتب رانده شدهاند، فقر و بیکاری خانوادههای بیشماری را به مرز درماندگی رسانده و صدای هر منتقدی با تهدید و سرکوب مواجه میشود. این واقعیتی است که مردم افغانستان هر روز با گوشت و پوست خود آن را زندگی میکنند و هیچ روایتسازی و تبلیغاتی نمیتواند آن را پنهان کند. اگر وضعیت افغانستان واقعاً عادی و قابل دفاع است، پس چرا دختران از آموزش محروماند؟ چرا زنان حق کار و زندگی مستقل ندارند؟ چرا هزاران جوان آینده خود را در ترک وطن جستجو میکنند؟ چرا رسانههای آزاد خاموش شدهاند و چرا کوچکترین صدای انتقاد با تهدید و ارعاب پاسخ داده میشود؟ واقعیت را نمیتوان با چند مصاحبه سفارشی، چند گزارش جهتدار و چند روایت تبلیغاتی تغییر داد. تأسفبارتر این است که برخی کسانی که روزگاری از نام جمهوریت، آزادی بیان و حمایت جامعه جهانی نان، اعتبار و ثروت به دست آوردند، امروز در صف مدافعان استبداد ایستادهاند. آنان به جای ایستادن در کنار قربانیان، به جای دفاع از حقیقت و به جای همصدایی با مردم، ترجیح دادهاند واقعیت را قربانی منافع شخصی، مصلحتاندیشی و نزدیکی به قدرت کنند. مردم افغانستان حافظه تاریخی دارند. آنان فراموش نخواهند کرد چه کسانی در روزهای دشوار کنار مردم ایستادند و چه کسانی برای حفظ منافع خود، به تطهیر ظلم، انکار رنج قربانیان و مشروعیتبخشی به سرکوب پرداختند. تاریخ نیز در نهایت میان آنان که حقیقت را گفتند و آنان که حقیقت را فروختند، قضاوت خواهد کرد.
