Early reading. We have captured 7 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 1.9K interactions against 245K followers, an engagement rate of 0.793%. Posts are seen about 33K times each, and 5.83% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 13.6% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Of the 7 posts sampled, 71% carry an image or video and 14% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 4.5K interactions, about 2.3x its own typical post. Only 7 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 477 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

A 43-year-old foreign national was arrested in Bloemfontein on Monday, 7 September 2026, after police allegedly caught him altering a South African identity document at an internet café during #OperationShanela2. A search of his backpack uncovered multiple identity documents, passports, birth and death certificates, altered smart cards, proof-of-birth documents and pre-stamped affidavits. A follow-up search at Phomolong Informal Settlement also uncovered confidential DNA-related documents, bank statements and SASSA affidavits. The suspect allegedly told police he was assisting his “zama-zama” (illegal mining) associates. He faces charges of fraud, tampering with legal documents, possession of suspected stolen property and contravening the Immigration Act. He is expected to appear in the Bloemfontein Magistrate’s Court.

For the past four months, I have been working on a project called PEF — Phiwokuhle Empowerment Foundation. PEF was created with one goal in mind: to build sustainable businesses and create real economic opportunities for our people. Whether you are a start-up, an existing business, or someone who has a business idea but has never had the resources to get started, you are welcome to join PEF. Believe me, I understand how difficult it is to start a business from scratch. It is a mission. Many of us simply do not have the money or resources required to build sustainable businesses. And the reality is that a R370 grant is not going to lift anyone out of poverty. We need bigger solutions. PEF is here to change that. You may be wondering: How are you going to help us build businesses when you don’t have money yourself? The answer is simple: I have a strategy to raise the money. I am not asking people who are already struggling to put money into PEF. I know people don’t have money. Instead, I need members and a clear mandate from you so that I can go out and raise the funding on your behalf. I will be approaching mines, corporate companies, large businesses, private-sector institutions, and potential strategic partners to raise funding for PEF members people who already own businesses and people who have the intention and potential to start businesses. I want to take your business needs directly to the people and institutions that have the resources to help us. My target is to raise R10 million for the first 100 PEF members. That is the mission. I don’t want PEF to be another organisation that talks about poverty while doing nothing about it. I want us to build businesses, create jobs, grow local economies, and create opportunities that can sustain people for generations. We cannot continue waiting for government grants to save us. We need to build. We need to organise. We need to create. And we need to own. This is what PEF is about. If you have a business, want to start a business, or believe you can build something meaningful with the right support PEF is for you.
