It was a pleasure to speak with Crown Prince @PahlaviReza about the mission for a free and democratic Iran, returned to the Iranian people and free from the terror of the regime in Tehran. I shared with him the tremendous support I saw from Canada’s Persian community in Vancouver and their hope for freedom and democratic change in Iran. We discussed the importance of sustained international pressure on the Islamic Republic, maintaining internet access for Iranians, using frozen Iranian regime assets rather than Western taxpayer dollars to support the Iranian people, and ensuring that Iranians themselves determine the future of their country through free elections and a democratic constitutional process. Conservatives support comprehensive sanctions and the seizure of regime assets, expelling the IRGC from Canada, protecting Persian and Jewish communities here at home from threats and intimidation, and maintaining the Conservative policy of no formal diplomatic relations with the Islamic Republic. I was also pleased to invite the Crown Prince to visit Canada and look forward to continuing our discussions about how Canada can support the Iranian people in reclaiming their country and securing a free and democratic future.

Mark Carney was close enough to signing a deal that he had asked provinces to start putting U.S. liquor back on the shelves. Then he walked away. From what? We still don’t know. He must release the deal he was about to sign. Trump has seen it. Carney has seen it. Let Canadians see it.

Just finished a call with the Prime Minister to discuss the tariff escalation. My message: release the text of the rejected agreement, recall Parliament, and adopt an emergency Economic Action Plan to save jobs and lower costs for our people. The plan should scrap gas taxes until Canada Day, have zero capital gains tax on reinvesting in Canada, end the industrial carbon tax, green -light the 500 projects waiting for federal permits, and have ZERO sales tax on Canadian-made cars. As the U.S. hikes tariffs, we must lower taxes for Canadians. Let’s all fight for our workers, our businesses, and our country.
