Peter S. Greenberg engagement report
@PeterSGreenberg - 235K followers on X
Measured over 10 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 29, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 2 interactions against 235K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 6% of 19,932 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 965 times each, and 0.259% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.411% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.33 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 20% carry an image or video and 100% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.1K interactions, about 546x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Peter S. Greenberg's engagement rate beats 6% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,932 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 15% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.001%, Peter S. Greenberg sits below the 10th percentile of the 201,449 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 20% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 100% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 20% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 100% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 367 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

In my long career as a journalist and producer, I’ve had the good fortune to meet, interview, and spend considerable time with world leaders, celebrities, movie icons, rock stars. With very few exceptions, each of these people was truly bigger than life. And a few were even bigger surprises: they were also real. And at the top of that very short list: Dolly Parton. I had the pleasure of cohosting a television special with her a few years back, and I was immediately struck by her self-effacing authenticity. She was genuine. Her sincerity wasn’t contrived. Her generosity of spirit was limitless. And she never forgot where she came from. In fact, that was the essence of the television special we did...she took me back to East Tennessee, where she was born, to tell her remarkable story, her fascinating trajectory. The show was called “Take Me Home.” You can see it here: https://t.co/GEjyjDLmxa And indeed...she took me home. And along the way, we stopped by the studio where she cut her first album. I played the piano. She sang. And then, one of my most memorable highlights. In Nashville, we went to the Grand Ole Opry, then the Ryman Auditorium, and then, at the Country Music Hall of Fame, the two of us walked in and sang an impromptu duet — the song: “Will the Circle Be Unbroken.” And when it was over, she looked at me, giggled, and, as she always did, she told the truth: “You sure ain’t no singer,” and we both laughed as we put our arms around each other. Now that Dolly is gone, in the days and weeks ahead, many stories will inevitably be told of her quiet and unpublicized acts of kindness, charity, and support. And many might be surprised by just the body of her songwriting work alone — she wrote more than 3,000. Hers is an amazing legacy that will continue to evolve even after her passing. But one thing is clear: Dolly was a unifying force. In a world where we all seem divided, she was common ground, the living focal point of agreement. No blue states or red states. Just the continuing state of wonderment we all had at her everlasting talent and compassion. Dolly Parton’s circle will never be unbroken.

This week on The Travel Detective: Many of you may have heard about the legendary Danube River. In fact, some of you may have even traveled on it between places like Vienna and Budapest. But then there’s the lesser-known Danube. It goes to places like Albania, Romania, Bulgaria, all the way out to the Black Sea, even Ukraine. There’s a very special river cruise with unrestricted navigation. And that’s where our correspondent Kerry Sanders went. That’s our cover story. Plus, from rivers and lakes to the open sea. We’ll reel in some of the world’s best—and some surprising—fishing destinations. And then, one of the best ways to fly overseas can often be through another country. I’ll educate you on the benefits of something called a Sixth Freedom Flight. All this and more on the next edition of #TheTravelDetective on @PBS. Check your local listings.

- What is Peter S. Greenberg's engagement rate on X?
- Peter S. Greenberg (@PeterSGreenberg) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 234,602 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.001%, Peter S. Greenberg sits below the 10th percentile of the 201,449 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @PeterSGreenberg have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 6% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (19,932 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @PeterSGreenberg post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.33 posts per day across the measured window.
