A typical post picks up 308 interactions against 445K followers, an engagement rate of 0.069%. Measured over 41 original posts, its engagement rate beats 61% of 3,917 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 98K times each, and 0.314% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 22.1% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 3 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 41 posts sampled, 71% carry an image or video and 27% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 40K interactions, about 131x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Myron Gaines's engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,917 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 23% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.069%, Myron Gaines sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,996 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.081%.

TikTok is on fire after an influencer allegedly spent more than two years pretending to be a student in Duke University’s Physician Assistant program. Angel Victoria Murdock reportedly documented her supposed journey as a Duke PA student, building a huge online following, landing brand deals, and even appearing on a Netflix reality show. According to people who investigated her claims, she went to extraordinary lengths to make the story look authentic, wearing scrubs in videos, purchasing medical equipment, driving to Duke’s campus just to film content before driving back home, and even having fake badges made to feature in her videos. Things reportedly began to unravel when an actual student in the program congratulated Murdock online for being part of the PA program. The student reportedly said she had never seen or heard of Murdock being in the program and was blocked within minutes. Then, over the course of the semester, other students reportedly started noticing something strange. None of them had ever seen Murdock, not in class, on campus, or at program events. The biggest twist came later. After going quiet for a while, Murdock posted “graduation” photos in front of Duke Chapel, complete with a cap and master’s hood. People quickly noticed that the colors appeared to be incorrect. That prompted even more digging. According to those investigating her claims, Murdock does not appear to have a NCCPA certification number in North Carolina, where she allegedly claimed to be certified. The entire two-hour Duke hooding and graduation ceremony was also available online, with graduates called in alphabetical order. Her name was never called, and she does not appear to have walked across the stage. After Murdock was exposed, her social media accounts, which had hundreds of thousands of followers, were reportedly deleted.

Social media was one of the biggest scams ever sold. A perfectly happy woman can scroll Instagram and suddenly convince herself she’s living the wrong life. She sees influencers traveling the world, wearing designer clothes, carrying $10,000 handbags and stepping onto private jets. Suddenly her stable marriage feels boring. Her husband feels “cheap.” Her normal life feels like she settled. Then she starts picking apart everything he does. “He doesn’t take me anywhere.” “He doesn’t spoil me.” “He’s not ambitious enough.” “He’s not like those men.” Eventually, she starts wondering if she married the wrong man. But here’s what she forgets: She’s comparing her real life to someone else’s carefully manufactured highlight reel. The vacations are curated. The relationships are curated. The bodies are edited. The homes are staged. The lifestyles are sponsored by men who rent these “influencers” aka escorts strategically presented for attention. You are not watching reality. You are watching a performance designed to keep you watching. And comparison is the business model. Because a woman who is content with what she has is harder to sell to. But make her feel inadequate? Now she needs the new handbag. The new body. The new vacation. The new house. The new lifestyle. And eventually, maybe even a new husband. They don't need to convince you that your life is terrible. They only need to convince you that someone else’s life is better. Then you’ll do the rest. You’ll create the dissatisfaction yourself. The algorithm profits from your insecurity, your comparison and your constant need for validation from strangers. Stop comparing your real marriage to someone else's curated feed. Be grateful for what you’ve built. And before you let strangers on the internet convince you that your husband isn't enough, remember who actually lives that life with you.

Reading these numbers

What is Myron Gaines's engagement rate on X?
Myron Gaines (@MyronGainesX) has an engagement rate of 0.069%, based on the median interactions across 41 original posts from the last 30 days against 445,248 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.069%, Myron Gaines sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,996 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @MyronGainesX have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 61% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,917 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @MyronGainesX post?
Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 3 posts per day across the measured window.
