Musalia W Mudavadi engagement report
@MusaliaMudavadi - 1.4M followers on X
Measured over 62 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 23, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 102 interactions against 1.4M followers, an engagement rate of 0.007%. Measured over 62 original posts, its engagement rate beats 33% of 1,003 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 7.3K times each, and 1.38% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.523% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 62 posts sampled, 56% carry an image or video and 44% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.4K interactions, about 14x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Musalia W Mudavadi's engagement rate beats 33% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 62% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.007%, Musalia W Mudavadi sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.007% to 0.047%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 07:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 56% of posts | +79% | +73% to +85% | 5.8K |
| Outbound link | 44% of posts | -49% | -50% to -47% | 6.1K |
| Typical length | - | +13% | +10% to +15% | 6.4K |
- 56% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 79% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 44% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 49% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 498 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 13% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

A good road does more than connect places, it connects people to markets, jobs and opportunity. During an impromptu inspection of the ongoing 33km Museno–Mpaka–Kaimosi–Shamakhokho Road, I interacted with residents of Kakamega and Vihiga Counties and assessed progress on this important link between the two counties. Once complete, the road will cut travel time, lower transport costs, improve safety and give farmers and businesses easier access to markets, while strengthening trade and connectivity across the region. Better roads mean easier movement, stronger local economies and more opportunities for wananchi.

A parent's greatest joy is watching their child grow into a person of character, faith and purpose, and celebrating the milestones that open a new chapter in their life. At the invitation of H.E. President @WilliamsRuto and First Lady @MamaRachelRuto , I joined family and friends for the Koito ak Chaik, the engagement and farewell ceremony of their daughter, Charlene Ruto. Marriage is more than the union of two people, it brings families together, strengthens the bonds of community and carries forward the values and traditions that hold society together. Congratulations to Charlene and Isaya. I wish them a lifetime of love, joy, friendship and God's blessings as they begin this beautiful journey together.

Western Kenya's story must be told through results, roads that connect our people, hospitals that save lives, industries that create jobs and investments that put money in wananchi's pockets. Together with Governors @BarasaFernandes , @SpeakerKLusaka , @Gov_Ottichilo and Paul Otuoma , we had an open conversation on the progress being made across the region and, importantly, what still needs to be done. Major road projects had stalled before H.E. President @WilliamsRuto and the Kenya Kwanza Government took office in 2022. Since then, I have consistently lobbied to get development back on track. Today, the Mago–Mululu, Mbale–Mbihe, Ibokolo–Indangalasia, Lunza–Shiraha, Ikonyero–Akatsa and Kakamega–Navakholo–Musikoma roads are progressing, reconnecting communities and opening up markets. The development footprint extends further. Work is advancing at Kidundu Stadium in Vihiga, Busia Stadium, Kakamega Stadium and Masinde Muliro Stadium in Bungoma, alongside investment in Vihiga County Referral and Teaching Hospital, Kakamega Level 6 Hospital and the planned Bungoma Level 6 Hospital. Connectivity is also receiving a major boost through upgrades at Busia Airstrip in Nasewa, Webuye Matulo Airstrip, Kakamega Airstrip and Kitale Airstrip, making it easier to move people, goods and investment across the region. Our focus is equally on creating jobs and putting more money into local economies. Nzoia Sugar is back in production, supporting 3,000 jobs and 15,000 farmers, while County Aggregation and Industrial Parks are taking shape at Luanda in Vihiga, Likuyani in Kakamega, Sang'alo in Bungoma and Nasewa in Busia. Cotton is making a comeback too. At the Luanda Cotton Cooperative Ginnery in Muluanda, Busia, investment in new ginning machines, solar-powered processing and BT cotton seeds is helping lower production costs and rebuild opportunities for farmers. Ultimately, these investments must translate into jobs for our young people, better markets for farmers, stronger businesses and improved services for wananchi. Western Kenya is moving, and our task now is to accelerate the momentum and ensure development reaches every household.

Western Kenya's future cannot be defined by elections every five years. It must be built every day through stronger representation, development and opportunities that improve people's lives. With that bigger picture in mind, I launched the Magharibi Movement, bringing together political and community leaders from Kakamega, Bungoma, Busia, Vihiga and Trans Nzoia to give our people a stronger platform to shape the region's future. The journey has begun with representatives from 12 sub-counties in Kakamega, building a grassroots network that will support H.E. President @WilliamsRuto's re-election in 2027, while pursuing an agenda that extends well beyond the ballot. Our first mission is clear, get more people registered to vote. Political influence begins with participation, and a stronger voter base gives Western Kenya a stronger voice in determining leadership, influencing national priorities and securing its rightful place in Kenya's development. Register. Participate. Be counted. Western Kenya's future is ours to shape.

The loss of a loved one leaves a space that words can never truly fill. My heartfelt condolences go to Senator Dr. Boni Khalwale and the entire Khalwale family following the sudden and untimely passing of his beloved wife, Mama Gloria Sekeiyan Khalwale. During this deeply difficult time, I pray that God grants the family strength, comfort and courage, and that the memories they shared with a cherished wife, mother and friend bring them solace in the days ahead. May the Almighty God receive Mama Gloria into His eternal embrace and grant her soul everlasting rest. Rest in eternal peace, Mama Gloria.

Reading these numbers
- What is Musalia W Mudavadi's engagement rate on X?
- Musalia W Mudavadi (@MusaliaMudavadi) has an engagement rate of 0.007%, based on the median interactions across 62 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,403,130 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.007%, Musalia W Mudavadi sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @MusaliaMudavadi have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 33% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @MusaliaMudavadi post?
- Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.17 posts per day across the measured window.
