A typical post picks up 196 interactions against 392K followers, an engagement rate of 0.05%. Measured over 110 original posts, its engagement rate beats 59% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 12K times each, and 1.57% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.17% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 4.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 110 posts sampled, 99% carry an image or video and 61% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 41K interactions, about 211x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #ar15, #crime, #fancy.

Compared with accounts its own size

Mrgunsngear's engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 60% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.05%, Mrgunsngear sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 204,880 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,891 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

This account's posting mix compared with catalog-wide effects

  • 99% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 61% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 297 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

You know how every few years you’ll see footage that you’ve never seen before on 9/11 and wonder how you’ve never seen it before Well that’s exactly what this is for me Chris York is on a family vacation and most of his footage is on the rooftop of Liberty Court a few blocks away from the World Trade Center In it, you see clear footage of the twin towers about a week before the September 11th attacks. Beautiful day, manhattan looks great. Then there’s a long delay in his camera roll. When it resumes (1 minute mark) the north tower is struck. You can see the earliest first responders at the base of wtc1 - including battalion chief’s Joseph pfiefer While Chris is filming, the South tower is struck, and he recalled later that he could physical feel the blast and the heat of the explosion. In my opinion this is rare footage and perspective 500 feet above the streets and 500 feet below the strikes. Never forget what took place 25 years ago today. Love and respect to those involved, those affected, and our great heroes who saved so many lives. Good bless America and its people.

In the now 2 years since Hurricane Helene hit western NC, people seem to have forgotten that current Senate candidate and then Governor, Roy Cooper, intentionally didn't authorize emergency response efforts nor relief aid to the people impacted by the storm. Mr. Cooper should be ashamed to show his face in the state after what he did. #HurricaneHelene #RoyCooper #fail #WNC

Once again, we see a law enforcement agency (Volusia County sheriff's office in this instance) deploying a "crime scene unit" over a steel pole being cut in half. Do you think this department has ever, in the history of its existence, sent a crime scene unit to investigate ANY crime that had 0 victims and less than $100 of damage? Nope. It shows what they care about; their perceived power to control us. Related note - Governor DeSantis revoked the permits/contracts for all state agencies and Flock today so that's a win. A Nashville, TN police officer shot and killed Jason Sexton (54) with a suppressed Smith & Wesson AR15 wearing an Aimpoint micro red dot optic Saturday after a standoff that lasted over an hour. Mr. Sexton has multiple warrants and early Saturday morning he reportedly had an argument with a gas station clerk over the price of coffee and threatened the clerk with a sword. Mr. Sexton had a passenger in the vehicle that police believed may have been a hostage. *I don't know TN laws* but it seems this officer may be facing charges over this one but time will tell. Plan accordingly... #CityLife #tennessee #police #AR15 #swat #sword #crime #cops #coffee #nashville

I feel like the government forcibly stealing our money, then moving it around within the federal government with each department taking a cut whilst providing zero value to the productive American citizen, then printing/digitizing more "money" to "give it back" to us in the form of a "dividend," is an inefficient model. Call me crazy... #dividend #theft #government #inflation #FractionalReserveBanking #JekyllIsland

What is Mrgunsngear's engagement rate on X?
Mrgunsngear (@Mrgunsngear) has an engagement rate of 0.05%, based on the median interactions across 110 original posts from the last 30 days against 392,293 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.05%, Mrgunsngear sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Mrgunsngear have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Mrgunsngear post?
Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 4.2 posts per day across the measured window.
