A typical post picks up 18 interactions against 192K followers, an engagement rate of 0.009%. Measured over 51 original posts, its engagement rate beats 23% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 1.7K times each, and 1.03% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.91% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 51 posts sampled, 20% carry an image or video and 25% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.8K interactions, about 211x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Dr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman's engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 44% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.009%, Dr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman sits above the 10th percentile of the 202,672 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 0% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 192 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Abuja’s original master plan preserved wide environmental buffer zones and green corridors along major routes across the city. These areas were intentionally left undeveloped to help regulate temperature, improve air quality, absorb floodwater, and serve as the ecological lungs of the capital city. One clear example is the long stretch along the Kubwa Expressway. From Zuba through Kubwa and Gwarimpa down toward Asokoro, large setbacks were deliberately maintained on both sides of the road as green buffer zones. Today, many of those spaces have been overtaken by buildings and commercial developments, in direct contradiction to the purpose for which they were created. The loss of these green corridors comes with real consequences. As natural buffers disappear, cities become hotter, more congested, less healthy, and more vulnerable to flooding and environmental stress. Urban green spaces are not empty land waiting to be occupied. They are essential infrastructure that protects both the environment and the quality of life of the people living within the city. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that the people entrusted with managing these cities know exactly how functional urban planning works. They travel abroad, admire orderly cities, enjoy clean environments, and see firsthand how protected green corridors improve the quality of life. Yet back home, they abandon those same principles for short-term personal and political gain. This is one of the deepest problems with leadership and governance in this country: people with narrow and short-term thinking elevated to positions that require vision, discipline, and responsibility. To such minds, every open space appears to be unused land waiting to be allocated, sold, or converted for profit. Long-term environmental planning is sacrificed for immediate benefit, and the future of the city becomes less important than the next deal to be made. A city is not just a collection of buildings. A properly planned city reflects discipline, restraint, foresight, and respect for future generations. When leaders lack that understanding, they destroy the very systems meant to make urban life sustainable. Cities do not collapse overnight. They decline gradually through illegal conversions, compromised approvals, and the steady erosion of long-term planning principles.

Charles Okocha was declared winner of his celebrity boxing rematch against Portable after the singer walked out of the fight during the opening round at Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos. The bout descended into chaos as both men grappled in the ring before security intervened. Portable later returned to protest the decision, insisting he had won, but officials upheld the result, while Okocha celebrated and challenged Carter Efe to another celebrity boxing match. APC does not need to pretend Nig is perfect. It needs to make the argument that a country undergoing structural changes needs continuity, political stability and the opportunity to consolidate. Elections are not simply about changing govt. They are about choosing what comes next.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 18 interactions against 192K followers, an engagement rate of 0.009%. Measured over 51 original posts, its engagement rate beats 23% of 20,183 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 1.7K times each, and 1.03% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.91% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. What is Dr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman's engagement rate on X?
Dr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman (@MrAbuSidiq) has an engagement rate of 0.009%, based on the median interactions across 51 original posts from the last 30 days against 191,736 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.009%, Dr. Abubakar Sidiq Usman sits above the 10th percentile of the 202,672 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @MrAbuSidiq have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 23% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,183 accounts), which puts it in the bottom quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @MrAbuSidiq post?
Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.73 posts per day across the measured window.
