Kuldeep Yadav should be thinking of packing his bags and saying goodbye to international cricket. Today there was no Bumrah, no Washington, no Varun but Kuldeep still didn't find a place in 11. India's bowling attack at Lord's is one dimensional and lacks variety. A left-arm wrist spinner would have come handy. Remember he has 194 wickets in 118 ODIs. It seems these numbers don't matter.

I will insist, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi needs to be fast-tracked for T20I and ODIs. Doesn't matter who you drop. Trust his talent, give him the break and also a long rope. What he can do, no one can. This isn't a gamble, it's a sure shot.

Rohit sharma is best known for his timing. Too much talk about his place in the team, his age, fitness and lasting till 2027 World Cup. And he comes and scores a 100 and gets the highest score by an Indian batter at Lord's. Think twice before you write him off.

Virat Kohli taking his IPL 6s tally to 303 is an incredible achievement. Imagine Gayle has 360 and Rohit 310. Kohli isn't a natural six-hitter but he worked on his game to meet the demand of the modern game. His greatness is his adaptability and showing courage to come out of his comfort zone.

Can't really understand why so many people want Rohit Sharma to fail. It is admirable how he has taken this challenge head on. He has led India to the Champions Trophy, scored against Australia, NZ and now his 79 against Afghanistan. A few low scores here and there can't judge his class. As a cricket fan we should wish that he carries the form to the 2027 World Cup. India needs the experience of rohit and also Virat Kohli.
