A typical post picks up 219 interactions against 228K followers, an engagement rate of 0.096%. Measured over 17 original posts, its engagement rate beats 59% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 8.0K times each, and 2.75% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.49% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 67% of days. Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 17 posts sampled, 76% carry an image or video and 71% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 19K interactions, about 85x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Mallory McMorrow's engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 72% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.096%, Mallory McMorrow sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,152 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 19:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 76% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 71% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 310 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I have to say something there. There is a clip circulating WILDLY among conservative commentators and right-wing pundits of a woman who spoke this morning at a press conference with myself and Abdul. She had never spoken at a press conference before. Beforehand, she shared with me that she was really nervous. But she told me it was important for her to be there as a UAW member because she believed in using her voice for her fellow members and for working families. Doing something new is HARD. And scary. She started speaking and got stage fright. What you can't see in the video is that under the podium, she reached back. When I saw it, I grabbed her hand. Abdul did as well. We both stepped forward to stand with her. But the way you all are tearing her apart. God forbid anyone ever step out of their comfort zone. God forbid anyone ever try. It's callous, cruel, and it's no wonder why so many people absolutely despise this moment that we're in. Because God forbid you're not perfect. God forbid you show fear. God forbid you mess up. I am always proud to stand with people using their voice even when they're scared, for trying something new, for stepping out of their comfort zones. We need a lot more of her - people wanting to use their voice even when it shakes - and a lot less keyboard warriors who could care less about how needlessly cruel they are if it means getting a like or a retweet or some views.

Earlier today, AI researcher Jacob Coxon, who spent the past three years working at OpenAI and Anthropic, publicly resigned from Anthropic, warning that both companies are racing toward superintelligence and “gambling with our lives.” Then Evan Hubinger, Anthropic’s current Head of Alignment Stress-Testing, agreed with him, saying people inside the company genuinely believe AI could kill all humans. Hubinger said he personally puts the chance of AI wiping out humanity within the next decade at greater than 10% and said Anthropic still does not have a plan to solve the problem.

Just last week, John James introduced Donald Trump as the three time winner of Michigan. That's disqualifying. Then you've got Mike Rogers. Who said the most important job for the next Senator from Michigan is to have somebody who doesn't obstruct the President's agenda. The stakes could not be clearer. It's not Democrats vs. Republicans. It's Michigan vs. MAGA. And I'll choose Michigan every day of the week.

Thank you and massive respect to @haleyformi for running hard and caring so deeply about Michigan. Haley and I both came out of the class of women who ran in the 2018 wave. We both flipped Republican districts. She’s tough and smart - there’s never a moment she doesn’t want to dig in to talk policy. This primary was brutal on all of us. But I’m grateful to have had the chance to run with Haley and know that we’re all in on beating Mike Rogers and helping Democrats win all the way down the ticket this November.

This week, the entire country watched Michigan to see which direction the Democratic party would go. But in the most Michigan way, we rejected the premise. In Michigan, the Democratic Party IS a big tent party. One side didn't outright trounce the other side. And we saw record turnout: 1.5 million voted in the Democratic primary 0.9 million voted in the Republican primary Let's keep this up and win big in November.

Reading these numbers

What is Mallory McMorrow's engagement rate on X?
Mallory McMorrow (@MalloryMcMorrow) has an engagement rate of 0.096%, based on the median interactions across 17 original posts from the last 30 days against 228,311 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.096%, Mallory McMorrow sits above the 25th percentile of the 205,152 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @MalloryMcMorrow have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 59% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @MalloryMcMorrow post?
Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.3 posts per day across the measured window.
