A typical post picks up 26 interactions against 125K followers, an engagement rate of 0.021%. Measured over 60 original posts, its engagement rate beats 27% of 15,519 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 3.5K times each, and 0.765% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.77% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 77% of days. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 60 posts sampled, 98% carry an image or video and 37% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 260 interactions, about 10x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #fishing, #bassfishing, #mykissimmee.

Compared with accounts its own size

Major League Fishing's engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 33% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.021%, Major League Fishing sits above the 10th percentile of the 157,752 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.022%.

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 37% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 457 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

At some point on Sunday morning in Florida, Drew Gill just became inevitable. The Illinois pro lurked around the top of the @TackleWarehouse Pro Circuit Championship leaderboard for two days – like a Kissimmee Chain alligator – and then put together a Sunday-morning smackdown that resulted in 31 pounds, 13 ounces before most of the rest of the country had finished its second cup of coffee. Gill’s three-day total of 75-3 reversed a 5-pound deficit heading into Championship Sunday and gave him a 10-4 win over Levi Kohl (64-15). The Championship trophy bookends a stellar Pro Circuit season for Gill, who started the season in early February with a win at Stop 1 on the Harris Chain. Every so often, we get an event where it looks like one angler found a different fishery than everyone else. That was the case for Cody Morgan at the Gator Division Super Tournament on the St. Johns River this weekend. Morgan blew the doors off the @phoenixbassboat Bass Fishing League Presented by @thmarineteam event. On Day 1, he weighed a 31-9 megabag, including a 9-7 kicker that won @BerkleyFishing Big Bass honors. Then, he backed it up with yet another 30-pound limit, totaling 30-0 on Day 2. His two-day total of 61-9 got him the win by nearly 10 pounds over Parker Stalvey (who had an excellent event himself with 51-11). Bravo, Cody – what a way to get your first MLF win! #bigbass #fishing

We were planning on getting Jacob Wheeler exactly $4,647,293 for this 36th birthday today but – go figure – it turns out he already got that for himself. Guess he’ll have to settle for this happy birthday post instead. Hope it’s a great one, Jacob! #fishing #BassFishing #HBD #happybirthday

Each week, Major League Fishing celebrates some of the most accomplished anglers in the history of the sport though the newly established Top 10 Club – a group of 1,800-plus anglers who have earned 10 or more Top 10 finishes in MLF tournaments throughout their careers. Today, we recognize one of the most prolific anglers in the history of the @phoenixbassboat Bass Fishing League: Rockford, Ohio’s Dick Shaffer, who has been a staple of the Buckeye Division for more than 30 years – as well as other Divisions and levels of FLW/MLF, including the @Toyota Series and @TackleWarehouse Pro Circuit. The 2012 All-American runner-up trails only Bryan Thrift in total Top 10s in MLF competition with 87 and has a whopping 17 wins to go with them. #fishing #bassfishing #top10club #majorleaguefishing

What is Major League Fishing's engagement rate on X?
Major League Fishing (@MajorLeagueFish) has an engagement rate of 0.021%, based on the median interactions across 60 original posts from the last 30 days against 125,333 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.021%, Major League Fishing sits above the 10th percentile of the 157,752 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @MajorLeagueFish have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 27% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (15,519 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @MajorLeagueFish post?
Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 2 posts per day across the measured window.
