ليست ذكرى عادية .. إنها فصلٌ لا يُطوى من ذاكرة الوطن. منذ 1990.8.2 وحتى اليوم، مرّت أعوام طويلة، وتغيّرت أشياء كثيرة، لكن تفاصيل الغزو العراقي الغاشم على الكويت ما زالت حاضرةً في الذاكرة، كأنها حدثت بالأمس .. لا تمحوها الأيام، ولا تُسقطها السنين. عشنا الخوف والألم، ورأينا الدمار وحرائق آبار النفط، لكننا رأينا أيضاً بطولة شعبٍ التفّ حول وطنه، وتمسّك بأرضه، وصبر حتى عاد الحق إلى أصحابه. يبقى الثاني من أغسطس تاريخًا يذكّرنا بأن الأوطان لا تُقاس بحجمها، بل بعزيمة أهلها ووحدتهم. وستظل الكويت، بإذن الله، عصيّةً على كل معتدٍ، مرفوعة الرأس، محفوظةً بأبنائها المخلصين، ووفاء أشقائها، وعدالة قضيتها. رحم الله شهداء الكويت، وحفظ وطننا من كل سوء، وأدام عليه نعمة الأمن والأمان، لتبقى رايته خفّاقة، ويبقى حبّه راسخًا في القلوب جيلاً بعد جيل. ماضي الخميس
