Lowkey engagement report
@Lowkey0nline - 435K followers on X
Measured over 6 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 30, 2026.
Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 6 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 1.7K interactions against 435K followers, an engagement rate of 0.382%. Posts are seen about 80K times each, and 2.09% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 18.3% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 50% of days. Most posts go out around 07:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 6 posts sampled, 67% carry an image or video, 17% are part of a thread and 17% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 47K interactions, about 28x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #aligwhoizi, #breaking. Only 6 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

On August 1st, I was interviewed on Times Radio about Jason Arday. Jason asked me how long I thought the hounding would continue; I said: “perhaps two days. Three days max”. 14 days of nonstop headlines and harassment later, Jason was found dead. https://t.co/lyO7voHSIH

Two more black men in academia, Momodou Taal and Amandla Thomas-Johnson are being hounded by another vicious institution, @Cornell, to return to the US or face a withdrawal of their PhD funding. Momodou and Amandla managed to escape ICE gestapo squads who were trying to kidnap them for standing with Palestine. Cornell know that if they return they will be kidnapped, but they of course don't give a shit. Sign and share this petition to pressure the university to fund them. Now is the time to support them. https://t.co/mbqUIahfxl

Paying a price for Palestine by Momodou Taal I left the United States with my head held high. My exit was a refusal to become carrion for a government satiated by the blood of Gazans. In hiding, while fasting, I remembered that no sacrifice is too great for Palestine. Without a shred of regret, nor a waver in my convictions, I held then, as I do now: I didn’t go hard enough for Palestine. Cornell University decided that its investment in genocide weighed heavier than its commitment to its students. During my time at Cornell, I was suspended twice, banned from campus, prevented and then prohibited from teaching, and declared persona non grata. During my time at Cornell, I was told that I could not pray my five daily prayers on campus, and that any medical appointments had to receive prior approval. During my time at Cornell, I was effectively placed under house arrest. I was given a map dictating where I could and could not go. There was a bitter irony in protesting apartheid only to find myself subjected to its spatial logic. Eventually, I was hunted by ICE agents until I decided to leave. At the time of my departure, life was uncertain and my future undecided. But I knew one thing: wherever life took me, I had stood on the right side of history. Since then, I have been detained at Heathrow Airport, my devices seized and my DNA taken. My crime? Palestine. Although I remain enrolled at Cornell, on June 10th I received an email: “Return to campus to teach or lose funding.” I cannot help but read this as a cynical attempt to deprive me further—or worse, to place me back within ICE’s reach. But I remain determined to finish. I refuse to let Cornell win. Palestine remains the litmus test. My moral compass. Kwame Ture once dreamed of something remarkably simple: “having coffee with my wife in South Africa; and mint tea in Palestine.” There is something about the simplicity of that dream that has always stayed with me. To sit, to drink tea, to live freely in places where freedom had been denied. Ture's dreams remains unfulfilled. And they remain ours.
