Early reading. We have captured 2 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 24 interactions against 265K followers, an engagement rate of 0.009%. Posts are seen about 5.0K times each, and 0.469% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.89% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.33 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 2 posts sampled, 50% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 6.9K interactions, about 287x its own typical post. Only 2 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,374 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,897 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 06:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

Muhoozi was little from the sperm stage, A tiny accident of history, Carried by a father’s name, Raised by a palace, Fed by uniforms, Protected by fear, And mistaken for a leader. Museveni fought his way into power, Wrong or right, he earned his place in Uganda’s story, But Muhoozi only arrived as the lucky sperm, Then grew into a loud shadow, A small man wearing a big surname, A child of power confusing inheritance for destiny. He attacks the press, Because free people scare little men, He threatens newspapers, Because history cannot be detained, And when Uganda finally turns the page, He will learn that a borrowed throne, Cannot make a small man tall.

Six years ago, @PeterNdegwa_ walked into @SafaricomPLC ’s Westlands headquarters as the company’s first Kenyan CEO, inheriting a business whose traditional revenue engines were losing power. Voice revenues had peaked and were falling. Messaging had declined for three consecutive years. The company needed a new direction. He had barely met his team when the world shut down. In his first weeks on the job, Safaricom zero-rated M-Pesa transactions for close to nine months, set up and ran the Ministry of Health’s COVID-19 call centre, and upgraded 4G network coverage from 50% to over 90% work that would normally have taken years, compressed into one. Then came Ethiopia. In April 2021, less than a year into the role, Safaricom secured a licence to operate in Africa’s second most populous country. Total consortium investment has since reached $2.65 billion. The Ethiopian Birr collapsed from 57 to the dollar to 146, pushing Safaricom from a net cash position of KSh 3.54Bn when Ndegwa joined to net debt of KSh 139.81Bn by FY26. But the revenue question had already been answered. M-Pesa repositioned from a mobile money feature into the company’s central engine crossed KSh 100Bn in annual revenue for the first time in FY22, becoming the first Safaricom segment ever to hit that threshold. It has not looked back since. Six years. One CEO. A company completely transformed. 🔗 Full story — https://t.co/zkUbRrXhnb

Little Djibouti on the Horn of Africa feels there's not enough quality houses. What to do? Djibouti has broken ground on 7000 units costing a half-billion U.S. dollars to give more people places to live. "Salaam City" is intended to "improve the lives of ordinary people." https://t.co/TselVlQ6WR

When you ask grok worst mistake done in history, here is what you get …. The adoption of agriculture about 12,000 years ago. Jared Diamond called it humanity's worst mistake: it ended 200,000 years of hunter-gatherer life with better health, less work, and equality, swapping them for population booms, disease, inequality, and despotism. We're still dealing with the fallout. What's yours?
