A typical post picks up 259 interactions against 67K followers, an engagement rate of 0.389%. Measured over 47 original posts, its engagement rate beats 73% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 9.1K times each, and 2.85% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 13.6% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.9 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 47 posts sampled, 64% carry an image or video and 11% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 23K interactions, about 87x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Kirk Lubimov's engagement rate beats 73% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 70% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.389%, Kirk Lubimov sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,582 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.679%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,582 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,893 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 17:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

And there it is. Mark Carney: "We should deepend our people to people ties. Allowing our youth to work, study, and live where they want on either side of the Atlantic." Free mobility no one voted for. So much for sovereignty. Youth is the foot in the door normalization. https://t.co/YCTvefvPvg

Conservative politics in Canada are about to be shaken up. Jamil Jivani: "You have people who should be offering an alternative to the Liberals...a lot of people who should have had the spine to stand up to the Liberals instead wound up trying to appease the Liberals in power." (Just like during the pandemic) The "Conservative" swamp has been called out. It seems like soon there will be a choice between Conservatives and Not-Liberals-Conservatives. This is the time to find out.

He often goes to French to say the stuff he really means to avoid wider spread. Mark Carney (Translated from French) "Technologies...Impact the state's ability to govern. Tech platforms aspire to sovereignty, they want to set access rules, they want dictate the rules for regulations. Spread disinformation and steal our children's childhoods." It's clear that Carney agrees with Europe's authoritarian approach to regulating tech, freedom of speech and wants to partner up together against it. Trying to force streaming companies to change their algorithm to show Canadian shows no one cares about was also part of the fallout of Canada-US negotiations. And then there is the back door access the Liberals want to tech platforms. Pretty alarming.

You need to understand the sequence of events and what is being played out with Mark Carney and Europe. > Carney worked on the wealth transfer that is the carbon trade system and implementing aspects of it via regulations and systems before coming into politics. > Carney co-chaired 2 funds opened in tax haven Bermuda dedicated to profit from the transition of a net zero carbon economy. > Moves from Europe to Canada. > Campaigns on carbon taxing our industries; "how much steel are you using these days?" > Campaigned on Net Zero. > Kept leaving to Europe as soon he was elected. > Signs an MOU with Alberta increasing carbon taxes, creating a floor price, agreed to Net Zero targets. > The MOU with Alberta will be used as a blueprint to create a national approach. > Keeps calling Canada as the most European non-European country. This framing was anchored in his speeches on purpose. > Tells you we live in a dangerous and divided world over and over again. > Gives a speech oh how the New World Order will be built out of Europe. > Canada invited to become an Associate Member of the EU, something that will be created specifically for Canada. > Canada's trade system will be carbon trade based matching Europe's CBAM. Ideological subversion at play.

While Mark Carney is musing for Canada to become an Associate Member of the EU, let me give you some context in regards to Canada exports to the US vs EU and UK. > Canada exports monthly 12x more to the US than EU. > Canada exports more to the UK than EU. Heck, Canada's interprovincial trade barriers - that we keep promising to remove but don't remove, cost Canada's economy 4x our exports to the EU. This isn't not an economic move. It's political and ideological.

I have to fact check Mark Carney, again. Carney says that the financial markets are starting to change the pricing for the cost of borrowing for governments around the world separating the strong and the weak, and Canada is strong. "We are now seeing financial markets starting to change the pricing, literally as we meet today, the cost of borrowing for governments around the world. To separate the strong from the weak. We are the strong, Canada Strong." Except this is INCORRECT and requires more context. The effective interest paid on federal government financial liabilities increased to 3.00% in Q2, 2026 which is higher than the average in 2025. Every movement equals billions more in debt costs and as pandemic era debt matures the debt cost will substantially continue to increase. Canada federal government debt interest cost are projected to grow from $58.7B this year to $80.9B by 2030-31, a 50% increase in just a few years. It will take 13.2% of government revenues. Deficit spending is not stopping either. If Bank of Canada increase rates costs will go up. Oh and Canada's government just issued a long term bond with the highest yield in 19 years so what Mark Carney is saying is happening to others aka "the weak" is actually happening to Canada.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 259 interactions against 67K followers, an engagement rate of 0.389%. Measured over 47 original posts, its engagement rate beats 73% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. What is Kirk Lubimov's engagement rate on X?
Kirk Lubimov (@KirkLubimov) has an engagement rate of 0.389%, based on the median interactions across 47 original posts from the last 30 days against 67,023 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.389%, Kirk Lubimov sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,582 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @KirkLubimov have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 73% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @KirkLubimov post?
Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.93 posts per day across the measured window.
