Hoy tuve una emotiva llamada con María Corina Machado, premio Nobel de la Paz por su admirable lucha en la defensa de la libertad y la democracia en Venezuela. La historia nos da poderosas lecciones de los caminos que hay que seguir y aquellos que hay que evitar, como lo que sucedió con la Venezuela de Chávez y Maduro. El de Chávez fue un modelo que llegó prometiendo prosperidad para todo el pueblo y terminó repartiendo miseria, inseguridad y expulso a millones de venezolanos de su propio país. En nuestro país, este 7 de junio tenemos la oportunidad y la responsabilidad de defender nuestra democracia, nuestra prosperidad y el futuro de nuestros hijos frente a quienes, disfrazados de demócratas, quieren arrebatarnos todo.

Hoy sostuve una reunión con el presidente del Banco Central de Reserva del Perú, Julio Velarde. En ese encuentro, le extendí la invitación para continuar al frente de la institución por un nuevo período de cinco años. Me complace informar que ha aceptado. Esta es una gran noticia para el Perú. Agradezco su compromiso con el país. Estoy convencida de que, con esta decisión, el Perú fortalecerá un entorno de confianza y estabilidad para impulsar su desarrollo.

Su llegada será un momento de encuentro para nuestra fe y un mensaje de esperanza para nuestro país. Santo Padre, lo esperamos con los corazones abiertos para darle la bienvenida de regreso a su casa, el Perú. 🇵🇪

Es un día muy triste para el país. Han permitido que la izquierda radical vuelva a gobernar. Todos sabemos quiénes son los irresponsables que nos han empujado al caos, con López Aliaga a la cabeza. Lo advertimos el domingo. El caos es más grande que antes. Nunca debieron abrir esta puerta. Pero no podemos perder más tiempo. Tenemos que frenar su avance antes de que sea demasiado tarde. La democracia está en peligro. Hoy, con más fuerza que antes, defenderemos la Constitución y la libertad y también le haremos frente a los partidos improvisados y a las ambiciones de poder sin límites que han puesto al país en esta situación.
