Después de mi último comentario en X, he recibido agresión como respuesta por parte de algunas personas. Por eso quiero aclarar algo con respeto, no estoy inventando nada, no estoy generalizando a todo un país, ni estoy hablando de otros temas que algunos han querido traer a la conversación. Mi comentario fue sobre algo puntual, lo que se vio en el estadio con algunos hinchas que no supieron comportarse. Nada más. Y no es algo que estoy diciendo solo yo como ecuatoriana. También comentaristas deportivos, periodistas, actores y figuras mexicanas han reconocido públicamente que hubo faltas y han pedido disculpas a Ecuador por ese comportamiento. Eso habla bien de quienes sí entienden que la pasión por el fútbol no puede justificarlo todo. Conozco cómo fueron distribuidas las sedes y los partidos del Mundial. Mi opinión no nace del desconocimiento, sino de una postura: cuando hay comportamientos que cruzan límites, debería existir una consecuencia. No seamos como esos padres que justifican a sus hijos incluso cuando actúan mal. Reconocer una falta no es atacar a un país; es pedir que algo así no se normalice. Respeto profundamente a México y a su gente. Pero también creo que el fútbol necesita límites, responsabilidad y respeto.
