A typical post picks up 3.2K interactions against 3.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.085%. Measured over 27 original posts, its engagement rate beats 82% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 179K times each, and 1.77% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.77% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.1 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 60% of days. Most posts go out around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 27 posts sampled, 89% carry an image or video, 15% are part of a thread and 11% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 19K interactions, about 6.0x its own typical post.

Measured over 27 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.

Compared with accounts its own size

Yoweri K Museveni's engagement rate beats 82% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 73% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.085%, Yoweri K Museveni sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 36,654 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 106,977 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 15:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

It's me, Janet Museveni. It is a confirmation that the God I talk about is a living God. He is not a myth, He lives! I must therefore thank Uganda, beginning with Mzee, who has prayed with the whole nation. I praise God for leading us to know Him. Thank you all for coming out publicly to pray for me. Thank you for all those continuous prayers and also for the kind birthday wishes. Thank you for letting me know just how much I am loved.

Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu. Greetings. I want to use this occasion to thank God that has protected and enabled Uganda to address its numerous problems. I thank God for blessing the NRM for the last 60 years plus, starting with it’s precursors. Now, God has blessed me with one of my grandchildren, Ruhamya, joining my big family of UPDF, having graduated, with his colleague, Bakyira, from Sandhurst recently. Congratulations Ruhamya, congratulations Bakyira. Young Ugandans, Army service gives you good foundation. I congratulate the parents of the two young officers. Signed: Yoweri K. Museveni Ssaabalwanyi

Fellow Ugandans, especially the Bazzukulu,   It is with a lot of sadness that, on the behalf of all Ugandans, Maama Janet and myself, I extend our most heart-felt condolences to the Royal Family of Tooro and to all Ugandans on account of the death of the prominent Muzzukulu, His Highness Oyo, the King of Tooro at such a young age of 34. How unfair life can be!! He was orphaned while still young and he has died young.   In the short life on earth, he had shown that he had potential of working well with the Central and Local Governments to develop Tooro. What a loss to Tooro and Uganda.   Some months back, Her Royal Highness Kemigisa, Nyinomukama, came to tell me that the Muzzukulu Oyo had cancer that was very aggressive. The Government supported them to go to Germany and, then, the USA where he died.

It is with deep sorrow that I announce the death of our brother Gen. Moses Ali. He died today at Nakasero Hospital, at 1600 hours. Gen Moses Ali has provided service to his country for a long time, as a soldier and a political leader. In the West Nile region, he provided the good example of being a big modern farmer. We shall miss greatly his contribution. May the Almighty God rest his soul in eternal peace.

Today, Maama Janet and I received international evangelist, Bishop Dr. LaDonna C. Osborn at State House Entebbe. She is in Uganda ahead of the consecration of Pastor Patience Rwabwogo as a Bishop. Dr. Osborn recalled her first visit to Uganda in 1985 with her late mother, who ministered to many Ugandans during a difficult period in our history. Maama Janet also fondly recalled Dr. Osborn’s mother, who prayed with our family and gave our children their first Bibles. We reflected on Uganda’s transformation over the years and the enduring friendship between the Osborn family and Uganda. I welcome Dr. Osborn back to Uganda and wish Pastor Patience a blessed consecration.

I welcome international artiste Tyrese Gibson to Uganda. We discussed the creative arts, tourism, and the shared history and heritage of Africa and African Americans. I shared with him Uganda’s four sectors of socio-economic transformation, including the role of artistes like him in the services sector. We also discussed the opportunities in these sectors and how they can contribute to Uganda’s development. I wish him a fruitful and enjoyable visit to Uganda.

In the picture, I am with Mr. Cohen Carlos, who owns Feldstein Co. Ltd., a gold refinery in Kampala. It refines Uganda’s gold to a purity level of 99.9%, which recently was earning USD 173,000 per kilogram. On account of the war in the Gulf of Persia, the price is now USD 129,000. This particular one and a half kilograms of gold that I am holding is from Ibanda. Mr. Cohen is building another refinery in Morulem, Abim. Uganda is waking up. We have 10 licensed gold refineries in Uganda. Mr. Cohen’s refineries are printing the Bank of Uganda logo on the gold bars. Signed: Yoweri K. Museveni Ssaabalwanyi.

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 3.2K interactions against 3.8M followers, an engagement rate of 0.085%. Measured over 27 original posts, its engagement rate beats 82% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 179K times each, and 1.77% of those impressions turn into an interaction. What is Yoweri K Museveni's engagement rate on X?
Yoweri K Museveni (@KagutaMuseveni) has an engagement rate of 0.085%, based on the median interactions across 27 original posts from the last 30 days against 3,750,821 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.085%, Yoweri K Museveni sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @KagutaMuseveni have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 82% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @KagutaMuseveni post?
