A typical post picks up 507 interactions against 304K followers, an engagement rate of 0.167%. Measured over 9 original posts, its engagement rate beats 68% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 50K times each, and 1.01% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 16.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 77% of days. Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 9 posts sampled, 44% carry an image or video and 56% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 29K interactions, about 57x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #cw210, #halloween, #hilarious.

Compared with accounts its own size

Coach JK's engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 43% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.167%, Coach JK sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,583 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.677%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 08:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 44% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 56% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
  • Its average post runs 235 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters match the same accounts' other posts almost exactly.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I genuinely feel bad for all the people still starting their mornings manually driving, burning gas, sitting in traffic, and stressing over every stop-and-go. Bc this is how I start mine now. Fresh coffee in a Tesla cup in my hand. Starship, something inspiring on the dash. Tesla FSD handling the entire drive, while I stay attentive. And my Cybertruck connected the entire time... a Starlink Mini that's integrated to my Cyberbeast is pulling 169 Mbps down, 12 Mbps up, with 36 ms latency while driving. Bro... think about it for a sec... my car is driving autonomously on FSD, I’m drinking coffee and pouring more with both hands, I’m learning about the most important vehicle ever created by humans in the background, Starlink is giving me fast internet from space on the move, and I’m posting this reality on 𝕏 from the same seat for the world to see. Just a few years ago this would’ve sounded like some made-up future. Now it’s just my morning.

Local photographer Tony Haughton captured these poignant images of an Oldham family in the early 1960s. Mr and Mrs Sutton Pownall lived at No. 2 Court, Dickenson Street, Oldham, with their five young children in a 150-year-old house. The family shared just one bedroom, a kitchen and a living room, while relying on a communal outside toilet accessed with a shared key beside the dustbins. Their children were Susan (6), Steve (5), Sandra (4), Mark (3) and baby Gary, aged just eight months. Photographed on 1 June 1962.

It was a sad day for Jiu-Jitsu. 😔 Last week at a tournament in Brazil, a black belt known as Kabuto suffered a very serious cervical spine injury while competing in the No-Gi Open Class. He went for a triangle against a much heavier opponent. His opponent stood up while Kabuto was upside down in the triangle and slammed him onto the mat, landing him on his neck. Kabuto was taken to the hospital and underwent a very long surgery. Unfortunately, his injury is extremely serious, and no one knows how much he will be able to recover and it may require a tremendous amount of support and resources. I’m making this post for two reasons. First, there is a fundraiser to help Kabuto and his family during his recovery. I’m leaving the link here below. If you are able to help, any support would mean a lot. 🙏 Second, I think this is an important reminder for all of us in the Jiu-Jitsu community to understand what is legal and illegal, but especially what can cause catastrophic injuries. Slamming someone like this is illegal under all Jiu-Jitsu rulesets, so If you see something like that happening in training, stop the roll, call the coach, and speak up. Millions of people train and spar in Jiu-Jitsu every day, and serious incidents like this are thankfully very rare. But when something like this happens, we should learn from it and do everything we can to prevent it from happening again. Please keep Kabuto and his family in your thoughts, and if you can, consider supporting his recovery through the link in my bio. 🙏❤️ Let’s take care of each other. What is Coach JK's engagement rate on X?
Coach JK (@John_Kavanagh) has an engagement rate of 0.167%, based on the median interactions across 9 original posts from the last 30 days against 303,874 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.167%, Coach JK sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,583 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @John_Kavanagh have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @John_Kavanagh post?
Most posts go out around 08:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.47 posts per day across the measured window.
