A typical post picks up 325 interactions against 475K followers, an engagement rate of 0.069%. Measured over 54 original posts, its engagement rate beats 65% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 23K times each, and 1.43% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.79% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 5.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 60% of days. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Tuesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 54 posts sampled, 41% carry an image or video, 7% are part of a thread and 31% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 7.2K interactions, about 22x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #xbox, #gamescom, #xboxplayanywhere.

Compared with accounts its own size

Jez's engagement rate beats 65% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 57% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.069%, Jez sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.024% to 0.143%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 204,956 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 41% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 31% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 167 characters, which falls in the 80 - 180 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 80 to 180 characters run 3% below the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Hey so, this is probably the worst kept secret in the world but yeah I'm not longer at Linus Tech Tips. To be clear its a positive thing for both me and the company and I go into it in this video! So please take the time to watch. I really do love everyone there and wish everyone of them the best! But it's time to be a full time Streamer for a bit!

I've seen some people say that the Xbox disc-to-digital program has some kind of "time out" period cuz the text tells you to keep the disc. That is NOT the case, confirmed to me this morning. The text is intended to explain that if you lose the disc and someone else uses it, only then do you lose the license (if they activate it on their account). There's no "digital check in" time-out thing for it, despite what some people are trying to spread. https://t.co/CMKNxaScqf

OVER 800 Xbox discs are supported by the disc-to-digital program so far. Here's the full list: https://t.co/rhr96RVtWS πŸ’Ώ Over 200 de-listed games are supported too, which is a huge win for game preservation and future-proofing in the digital era. @jronald BIG shoutout to the team for this.

I think Microsoft got the hourly limits on Xbox Cloud Gaming pretty wrong. You can't even really complete most games on Game Pass Ultimate within 15 hours ... so you're basically getting less than one game per month? Those ++hour package prices are gonna be interesting ...

Just wanna thank everyone for your support on the Xbox disc to digital video I made. πŸ˜πŸ™ I spent more time on the editing (worked on a day off, so had more time for it etc. etc.), and it's the most traffic I've ever gotten on a video I made on YouTube. ☺️πŸ₯Ί Thanks all. https://t.co/WSdsZbD08j

World of Warcraft + Xbox controller works really well, really easy to get used to. - RB+LB for interface shortcuts like bags etc. - 32 keybinds on LT+RT, using ABXY and d-pad. - Radial menu on Menu button. - Targeting enemies and friendlies is intuitive, but unclear how viable it will be in a big-team raid particularly for healers. Only downsides is kiting/strafing seems to be a bit iffy (problem for hunters and casters in PvP maybe, fine for PvE). Also the game doesn't call up the Windows on-screen keyboard for typing yet. But it's still alpha, good first iteration.

Reading these numbers

What is Jez's engagement rate on X?
Jez (@JezCorden) has an engagement rate of 0.069%, based on the median interactions across 54 original posts from the last 30 days against 474,882 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.069%, Jez sits above the 25th percentile of the 204,956 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @JezCorden have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 65% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @JezCorden post?
Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Tuesday is its busiest day, at roughly 5.47 posts per day across the measured window.
