A typical post picks up 40 interactions against 124K followers, an engagement rate of 0.032%. Measured over 27 original posts, its engagement rate beats 35% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 3.1K times each, and 1.29% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.50% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 57% of days. Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 27 posts sampled, 81% carry an image or video, 7% are part of a thread and 11% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 13K interactions, about 329x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Senator Jerry Moran's engagement rate beats 35% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 48% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.032%, Senator Jerry Moran sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,472 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.147%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • Its average post runs 400 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I have long supported voter ID requirements for federal elections, which is why I cosponsored the SAVE Act to make certain only U.S. citizens are voting in federal elections.

Economic forces and natural disasters have constrained the cattle herd for years, and importing beef below market prices will only put further downward pressure on the livestock sector, endangering what has been a bright spot in a struggling agriculture industry. I urge President Trump to halt this action, listen to ranchers and let the free market work.

The administration’s decision to exempt salt from tariffs on Canadian imports is welcome news for Kansas businesses and taxpayers. When these tariffs were proposed, I urged the U.S. Trade Representative to consider the impact on Kansas taxpayers and local businesses, including Morton Salt and Compass Minerals, both headquartered in Overland Park, which own and operate Canadian mines and bring salt into the United States for distribution. Salt is a critical commodity in our state, particularly as we head into colder weather, with local governments utilizing it to remove ice and keep Kansans safe on the roads. I appreciate the decision to grant this exemption and will continue engaging with the administration on trade policies impacting workers and local businesses in Kansas.

We honor the life of Senator Nancy Kassebaum, a trailblazer who put the well-being of Kansans first. Her pioneering role as the first woman to represent our state in the U.S. Senate perfectly reflects the Kansas spirit. She was one of a kind, and she will be remembered among the greats who served the people of our state so well. Senator Kassebaum’s time in public service embodied the institution of the U.S. Senate at its best. I campaigned for her in western Kansas during her first election in 1978, as well as the campaigns that followed. She was never afraid to challenge me in our conversations, but she was always a friend and encourager. She was deeply respected across our state, and Kansans remain grateful for the way in which she represented us with such intelligence and integrity. Robba and I are keeping her children and the entire Kassebaum family in our thoughts as they mourn this loss. The legacy of the U.S. Senate, the well-being of our nation and, most significantly, the future of the state of Kansas are brighter because of the impact Senator Kassebaum had throughout her life. She will be deeply missed, but her legacy will never be forgotten.

PASSED: The Senate unanimously approved my resolution with @RogerMarshallMD honoring the legacy of Senator Nancy Landon Kassebaum, who served three terms in the Senate and was the first woman to represent Kansas in the Senate. Her service changed the Senate, our nation and the state of Kansas for the better. She will be deeply missed, and Robba and I extend our condolences to her family and loved ones.

GOOD NEWS: 14 rural health care providers in Kansas are receiving federal investments through the latest round of Rural Health Transformation Program (RHTP) funding. This $16 million investment will help strengthen care for Kansans in rural communities and improve access to high-quality, affordable services close to home. I worked with my colleagues to establish this program last year, and I will continue working with rural health care providers and state leaders to improve access to care for Kansans and strengthen rural providers.

PASSED: The Farm Bill has advanced out of the @SenateAgGOP Committee, securing key wins for Kansas farmers and ranchers, including: ✔️Strengthened conservation programs ✔️Year-round E-15 ✔️Modernized farm loan limits ✔️Expanded trade promotion ✔️Permanent transfer of Food for Peace transfer to USDA This is a critical step to advance a Farm Bill that provides certainty for farmers and ranchers in Kansas and across the nation. When farmers and ranchers are successful, rural America is successful. I will continue working with my colleagues to get this Farm Bill across the finish line and to the President’s desk to be signed into law.

It was great to be in Kansas City today to place the final beam on the brand-new KU Cancer Center building alongside the leadership of @KUcancercenter, @KUHospital and @UnivofKansas. As a member of the Appropriations Committee, I have secured $115 million in federal resources to construct and equip this state-of-the-art facility. The center will bring world-class cancer services to the region, creating the very best opportunities for Kansans and Missourians to access cancer treatments and care right here in the Heartland. I have had a dream for our state since before I was elected to the U.S. Senate: that Kansans interested in science, engineering, research and innovation have an opportunity to fulfill their educational potential, build a career and raise a family right here in our state. This project is helping do just that. It is a good thing for our state, and I’m pleased to see the progress being made at the KU Cancer Center.

What is Senator Jerry Moran's engagement rate on X?
Senator Jerry Moran (@JerryMoran) has an engagement rate of 0.032%, based on the median interactions across 27 original posts from the last 30 days against 124,044 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.032%, Senator Jerry Moran sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,472 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @JerryMoran have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 35% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @JerryMoran post?
Most posts go out around 18:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.03 posts per day across the measured window.
