Jack Carr engagement report
@JackCarrUSA - 275K followers on X
Measured over 23 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 26, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 1.1K interactions against 275K followers, an engagement rate of 0.388%. Measured over 23 original posts, its engagement rate beats 82% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 15K times each, and 7.01% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 5.53% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 23 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 22% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 5.3K interactions, about 5.0x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Jack Carr's engagement rate beats 82% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 93% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.388%, Jack Carr sits above the 50th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.147% to 0.698%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 100% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 22% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 22% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 285 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

It is an honor to have known and to have served with these men. Repost from @NavySEALMuseum On September 12, 2012, Tyrone Woods and Glen Doherty, who previously served as Navy SEALs, were killed in Benghazi, Libya when an American diplomatic compound was attacked. (U.S. Ambassador to Libya J. Christopher Stevens and U.S. Foreign Service Information Management Officer Sean Smith also perished in the attack on September 11; ten others were severely wounded.) Ty Woods was working as a contractor for the CIA; he responded to the initial attack. Glen Doherty, also a CIA contractor and friend of Woods, was positioned in Tripoli. Upon hearing of the attack, Doherty flew to Benghazi to provide support. These men–among a handful of others–courageously defended the compound against all odds. Ty Woods and Glen Doherty died on a rooftop while covering each other under fire. Their actions exemplify the SEAL Ethos of upholding courage, character, loyalty, and brotherhood. This painting, titled “Benghazi, No Man Left Behind”, was commissioned by C.L. Foley and donated to the Navy SEAL Museum. The artist is Josh T. Hermann, who also served as a Navy SEAL.

Every August I find myself reflecting on the withdrawal from Afghanistan and the close to twenty years that preceded it. My thoughts on what amounts to almost zero accountability for senior level military officers, elected representatives, and appointed bureaucrats who failed upward during that time are captured in a blog I wrote on 16 August 2021 titled “Imperial Hubris: The Great Game Revisited” and an article I wrote for TownHall on 23 August 2021 titled “A Time For Bold Adjustment: Fire The Generals.” Both can be found on the blog section of my website. https://t.co/5I3wAyADXs From the blog: I describe the American experience in Afghanistan as “…a failure that crossed party lines over four separate administrations, two Republican and two Democrat. As we watch the U.S. Embassy evacuation in Kabul and see images of the Taliban taking control of the country, to those of us who fought there it is more than a strategic failure; it’s personal.” “This year, for the first time in U.S. history, one could have joined the military, served for twenty years, and retired while the country is still involved in the same war.” “In what is accurately described as imperial hubris, the United States political-military establishment confused entry and initial resolve with victory. They were wrong; America’s sons and daughters paid the price.” “Simply put, our elected officials and senior level military leaders were trapped by their own intellectual inertia, condemning us to eventual defeat.” “Strategically, our leaders were not held to account for their blunders — in too many cases, blunders of epic proportions. Rather, they were promoted and eventually retired with full pensions to sit on the boards of companies making a killing in the world of government contracts; the military industrial complex is alive and well. As Lt. Col. Paul Yingling pointed out in his 2007 article A Failure in Generalship, ‘As matters stand now, a private who loses a rifle suffers far greater consequences than a general who loses a war.’”

- What is Jack Carr's engagement rate on X?
- Jack Carr (@JackCarrUSA) has an engagement rate of 0.388%, based on the median interactions across 23 original posts from the last 30 days against 274,916 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.388%, Jack Carr sits above the 50th percentile of the 213,004 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @JackCarrUSA have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 82% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the top quarter for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @JackCarrUSA post?
- Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.3 posts per day across the measured window.
