Isha Foundation USA engagement report
@IshaUSA - 107K followers on X
Measured over 14 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on October 12, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 170 interactions against 107K followers, an engagement rate of 0.159%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 60% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 3.0K times each, and 5.60% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.83% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.77 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 50% of days. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 14 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video, 29% are part of a thread and 43% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 2.5K interactions, about 15x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Isha Foundation USA's engagement rate beats 60% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 88% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.159%, Isha Foundation USA sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.678%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 100% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |
| Outbound link | 43% of posts | -41% | -42% to -40% | 32K |
| Typical length | - | +15% | +14% to +16% | 32K |
- 100% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 43% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts, so a large share of this account's output sits in the weakest bucket we measure.
- Its average post runs 807 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

I just learned about a 17,000-acre ‘spiritual community’ being built in Tennessee and somehow the same names keep showing up. Despite how it may be billed, this is not just a yoga retreat. On Isha Foundation’s property, residents can build and own homes on 99-year ground leases. They can mortgage them and they can sell them, but Isha keeps ownership of the land underneath them. Isha says this helps “safeguard its ethos.” But you can’t simply buy your way in; for Isha’s Kamala lots, the primary applicant must complete Inner Engineering Completion. For its studios and apartments, residents must be initiated into Shambhavi Mahamudra Kriya. The primary applicant must also participate in Kshetragna, which Isha describes as a lifelong commitment to daily spiritual practice under Sadhguru’s guidance. Tennessee regulators now describe the property as a 17,000-acre site, with another 102 residential lots planned for lease to Isha members. How are they able to do this? Well, Sadhguru does not generally present this as conventional religion. He describes yoga as a “technology” and “science” of inner transformation. Despite his characterization, Isha’s world is built around concepts like: Shiva as Adiyogi. Consecrated lingas. Linga Bhairavi. Karma. Liberation. Gurus. Devotion. Prana pratishtha. In other words: ideas, rituals and sacred forms deeply rooted in Hindu and yogic traditions are often presented to Western audiences as wellness, technology and self-development instead of “religion.” If you tell Americans “this is a Hindu spiritual tradition” they hear religion; but if you call Shiva, consecration, gurus and lifelong spiritual discipline “yogic technology,” many people hear meditation class. Now follow the network behind this compound. Sadhguru → ITServe Alliance Sadhguru was a keynote speaker at ITServe’s flagship Synergy conference. Isha → Sewa International Sewa partnered with Isha’s Save Soil campaign and mobilized its U.S. chapters behind it. Sewa has also explicitly listed Isha Foundation and Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) as partner organizations at U.S. events. Then there’s RSS. Sadhguru participated in the Positivity Unlimited series coordinated by a group formed of the RSS and its affiliates. Even RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat participated in the same series. At what point does a “spiritual retreat” become a privately controlled town with its own rules about who gets to live there? Because 17,000 acres is a hell of a yoga studio.

Today is Sadhguru’s Enlightenment Day. And on this very same day, 11 years ago, Sadhguru consecrated Adiyogi: The Abode of Yoga at the Isha Institute of Inner-sciences in Tennessee, a space that has since become a powerful sanctuary for growth, meditation, and inner transformation for hundreds of thousands of visitors. Housing one of the world’s most powerful meditations spaces, the Abode of Yoga was created as a tribute to the first yogi, and is designed purely as a space for inner exploration. As Sadhguru says: “This is not a place of worship, religion, philosophy, or belief system. This is a space to explore technologies for inner wellbeing.” ✨ Open to everyone, beyond religion, race, or culture No prior experience with yoga or meditation is needed. Simply sitting within the space allows one to access a deep sense of stillness and elevated awareness. 📍 Visit any day of the year Open 365 days a year, 8:30 AM – 8:00 PM CT Located at Isha Institute of Inner-sciences, McMinnville, Tennessee Easily accessible from Chattanooga (1 hr), Nashville (2 hrs), and Atlanta (3 hrs) On this powerful day, we invite you to experience Adiyogi: the Abode of Yoga. Birds built a nest near Adiyogi: The Abode of Yoga. Instead of removing it, volunteers noticed there were eggs inside and let it stay. The eggs eventually hatched into a small bird family. This is them having some food. 🐦🐣 https://t.co/jWWtxhklZb

Over the past two weeks, the entire Isha community has been deeply affected by the devastating flash floods at the Nepal–Tibet border. Throughout this difficult time, we have come together to support the affected families and one another. Since the floods, teams across the globe-from volunteers on the ground in Nepal and other city centers to those supporting remotely-have mobilized to offer every possible assistance. We continue to stand with the affected families, doing all we can to support them and keeping families and the wider community informed as relevant updates become available. Our thoughts remain with all those affected and their families.

A typical post picks up 170 interactions against 107K followers, an engagement rate of 0.159%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 60% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. - What is Isha Foundation USA's engagement rate on X?
- Isha Foundation USA (@IshaUSA) has an engagement rate of 0.159%, based on the median interactions across 14 original posts from the last 30 days against 106,820 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.159%, Isha Foundation USA sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,880 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @IshaUSA have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 60% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @IshaUSA post?
- Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.77 posts per day across the measured window.
