Measured over 25 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on September 14, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 260 interactions against 80K followers, an engagement rate of 0.362%. Measured over 25 original posts, its engagement rate beats 72% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 17K times each, and 1.52% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 21.5% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.1 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 23% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 25 posts sampled, 84% carry an image or video and 36% are part of a thread. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.0K interactions, about 12x its own typical post. Compared with accounts its own size
GeoInsider's engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 6 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 51% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.362%, GeoInsider sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,583 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.677%.

Formats this account uses
Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.
| Format | This account | Catalog effect | 95% interval | Accounts behind it |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Image or video | 84% of posts | +111% | +108% to +115% | 34K |

- 84% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
- 4% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
- Its average post runs 1065 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.
These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

BREAKING: 🇵🇱 PM Donald Tusk says Poland will now operate in a significantly reinforced mode, warning that the coming weeks and months will be a period of greatly intensified Russian activity and that Poland cannot rule out the possibility of the escalation affecting Polish territory. Speaking at an emergency meeting, Tusk said Poland has received warnings from its own and allied intelligence services about possible further escalation. He said Russia’s attempts to disrupt or paralyze Ukrainian border crossings are part of a wider pattern that could increasingly affect Poland. Tusk stressed that Poland must be prepared without creating panic, saying the country must work closely with its allies and be ready for a joint response if necessary. He also called for Poland to rapidly verify information coming from Ukraine, Russia and other sources, particularly during emergency situations at night, to avoid mistakes when an urgent response is required. Tusk said the latest attacks show that Russia is prepared to use more dangerous equipment, including jet-powered drones, whose range and precision he described as concerning. According to Defence Minister Cezary Tomczyk, 13 locations in Ukraine were hit during the overnight attacks. Tusk also said he wants information on how prepared Poland is for the possible use of drones to disrupt railway operations or industrial facilities inside Poland, adding that he cannot rule out such scenarios. I hope they do not happen, Tusk said, stressing that maximum preparedness is the best guarantee that more dramatic events can be prevented. This post will be updated further. A general is speaking now.

BREAKING | Ukraine has reached Russia’s Yamal gas-producing heartland for the first time, with a drone attack on Novy Urengoy today. Regional governor Dmitry Artyukhov confirmed that an industrial facility caught fire after the attack, with no reported casualties and damage still being assessed. it is the first strike on Russia’s natural-gas hinterland. Ukraine’s Special Operations Forces say their Deep Strike units targeted the Novy Urengoy gas-condensate facility and the Purovsky condensate-processing plant, with drones travelling more than 3,000 km. Russian authorities have not publicly confirmed that either specific plant was hit, and there is no reliable BDA yet. The significance for now is reach, not demonstrated disruption: Ukraine has shown it can bring one of Russia’s deepest and most important gas-producing regions into the strike envelope.

BREAKING: 🇬🇧🇳🇴🇺🇸 According to a new exclusive Reuters investigation, NATO allies disrupted a covert Russian undersea operation near Svalbard this spring. British, Norwegian and U.S. forces reportedly tracked and confronted Russian vessels linked to GUGI, Moscow’s secretive Main Directorate of Deep-Sea Research, as Russian deep-sea submersibles trained to deploy a sophisticated weapon designed to disable critical undersea cables. According to two Western officials cited by Reuters, the Russian vessels were prevented from completing the exercise and eventually left the area. The operation took place near Svalbard, where two 1,400-km fibre-optic cables connect the archipelago with mainland Norway. Lying as deep as 2,700 metres underwater, the cables carry huge amounts of satellite data from SvalSat, one of the world’s most important satellite ground stations. No cables were damaged. Reuters reports the Russian activity was a simulation of how the technology could potentially be used in a future conflict with NATO. Norway’s Defence Minister Tore Sandvik said the joint operation sent a clear message to Russia that covert activity can be detected and that any attempt to target critical infrastructure would be met with consequences.

BREAKING: 🇷🇴 A drone has crashed in northeastern Romania after crossing Moldovan airspace from Ukraine and travelling several hundred kilometres, according to Romanian and Moldovan authorities. Romania says Ukraine and Moldova informed its Defence Ministry that the drone had crossed both countries’ airspace before heading toward northeastern Romania. Two Romanian F-16 fighter jets scrambled from Borcea Air Base to monitor the situation. At 16:20, Romania issued a RO-Alert for Botoșani County after a report of a drone over Știubieni. Romanian authorities later located a crashed flying object in a cornfield near Botoșenița Mare, Suceava County. The impact caused a small fire and left a cavity approximately 1 metre wide and 30 centimetres deep. No casualties were reported. 🇲🇩 Moldova’s Defence Ministry says its Air Operations Service detected the drone at 15:26, after it entered Moldovan airspace from Ukraine. Border Police also spotted it near Vasilcău, Soroca. The drone later disappeared from radar near Băxani, before reappearing at 16:03 near Cuconeștii Noi, Edineț. Moldova temporarily closed parts of its Northern and Central airspace as a precaution, reopening the Central zone at 16:20 and the Northern zone at 16:30. An SRI pyrotechnic team has been dispatched to the Romanian crash site to assess the wreckage.

For everyone trying to understand what happened in Bulgaria over the past few days regarding the explosions and possible sabotage, here’s the situation: A fire and explosion hit an EMKO ammunition and explosives warehouse in central Bulgaria on September 11, and authorities are now investigating whether it was an accident, a security failure or deliberate sabotage. The incident happened at around 23:00 near Gorni Varpishta, in the Dryanovo area. The fire broke out at warehouse No. 12 and was followed by an explosion. Employees detected the fire through surveillance cameras and evacuated according to emergency procedures. No casualties were reported. 🇧🇬 Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev said investigators will examine the latest incident together with previous explosions and fires at EMKO and other Bulgarian defence companies to determine whether there is a connection or a similar pattern. He made clear that Bulgaria has not ruled out outside interference, while also raising concerns about storage conditions and security at facilities holding explosives. EMKO, however, is going further. The company says the latest incident was sabotage and that human error can be ruled out. According to EMKO, the warehouse had not been used for months, no unauthorized people had access to it, and it had been inspected seven times by Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry since the beginning of the year. The latest inspection was only 20 days before the explosion, and EMKO says the inspectors found full compliance with the regulations and recorded no violations. The company says this latest explosion is not an isolated event, pointing to more than 10 similar incidents affecting Bulgaria’s defence industry since 2011. EMKO also says none of those more than 10 investigations has been successfully concluded and argues that the repeated incidents are encouraging whoever is behind them to continue. EMKO is owned by Bulgarian arms trader Emilian Gebrev, who Bulgarian prosecutors have previously alleged was targeted by Russian operatives. In 2024, Bulgaria issued arrest warrants for six Russian citizens accused of involvement in earlier explosions at EMKO weapons depots between 2011 and 2020. Prosecutors also linked those cases to the attempted poisoning of Gebrev in 2015 and the 2014 ammunition depot explosions in the Czech Republic. And this latest incident comes only weeks after another EMKO warehouse explosion on August 10, which also caused no casualties. Bulgaria is now launching a nationwide inspection of ammunition and explosives storage facilities. Interior Minister Ivan Demerdzhiev said every ammunition depot in the country will be inspected, with authorities checking storage conditions, security measures and how these facilities are protected President Iliana Yotova has also said she is considering establishing a National Security Advisory Council, arguing that explosions at ammunition depots have become increasingly frequent. So, at this stage, this is what we have: Another EMKO facility has exploded. EMKO says it was sabotage. Bulgarian authorities are investigating and have not ruled out outside interference. Previous incidents are being reviewed for possible links, and Bulgaria is now preparing inspections of ammunition depots across the entire country.

- What is GeoInsider's engagement rate on X?
- GeoInsider (@InsiderGeo) has an engagement rate of 0.362%, based on the median interactions across 25 original posts from the last 30 days against 79,586 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.362%, GeoInsider sits above the 50th percentile of the 204,583 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @InsiderGeo have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 72% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @InsiderGeo post?
- Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.13 posts per day across the measured window.
