Early reading. We have captured 6 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 10 interactions against 126K followers, an engagement rate of 0.008%. Posts are seen about 1.4K times each, and 0.714% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.11% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 6 posts sampled, 17% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 1.5K interactions, about 149x its own typical post. Only 6 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 212,925 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,436 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

So @CMShehbaz u must feel good to have gotten your daughter & son in law speedy justice from graft cases. But u think it’s okay for my daughter & son in law to get no justice after over 8 months in jail thru sham trial & illegal incarceration order now suspended by SC & other sham FIRs? I hope ur children never have to face such vengeance & oppression even when u r not in power.

Configuring Democracy: Key Proposals Democracy in Pakistan requires urgent reconfiguration through structured reforms rather than endless civil-military debates or electing unaccountable “rajas.” The current 5-year parliamentary terms foster instability and dynastic politics. We must shift to a more responsive, localized, and accountable system driven by civil society debate, not politicians alone. •Parliamentary terms: Reduce to 3 years to increase accountability and responsiveness to public needs. •Local government: Implement immediately to decentralize power and address grassroots issues effectively. •Elections: Introduce staggered elections so voters participate annually, keeping politicians constantly answerable. •Senate: Hold direct elections for greater legitimacy and representation. •Cabinet and executive: Limit cabinet to 10 members; restrict only 10 parliamentarians to executive roles to reduce patronage. •Federal structure: Cap federal government departments at 10 for efficiency and reduced bureaucracy. •Presidency: Retain one President with no provincial governors to streamline governance. •Electoral system: Adopt a mixed model combining proportional representation and ranked-choice voting for fairer outcomes. •Term limits: Enforce term limits across all positions to prevent entrenched power. •Family restrictions: Ban immediate relatives from holding parliamentary or public office simultaneously to curb dynasties. •Political parties: Require parties to demonstrate 250,000 members, hold annual conventions, and conduct internal elections before appearing on ballots. The Constitution must not be tampered with solely by politicians. Civil society needs to lead a national debate on these ideas. Additional safeguards could include maturity and psychological checks for candidates to ensure fitness for office. Without such reforms, democracy remains superficial. Let’s discuss and refine these proposals for a stronger, more mature democratic framework.

Those who are threatening to impose Governor’s Rule or Emergency in KPK will destroy the last political linkage between a fragile and unrepresentative federation and a provincial government that has the mandate of the people. If this adventurous line is pursued, the federation will face a critical crisis while a war is going against terrorist Taliban. It’s time to politically reconcile not weaken a common front against Taliban. Providing health care, allowing meetings with Imran Khan and ensuring due judicial process are very elementary demands. There is no possibility of a repeat of May 9-like agitation. There is a greater need for political resolution of political crisis now. Extreme steps would be counterproductive.

I have been writing a fortnightly column for The News for over two years - rather I was writing one - till today The column was started following an invitation by the editorial pages editor Might I add that I was also editorial pages editor of the same pages of The News from 2096-2009 - when I moved on to the Express Tribune (helped launch) it and then headed ARY News online Samaa News online and so on However, today when I sent my piece for this week I was told by the editorial pages editor of The News that moving forward I should send a piece with a “longer shelf life” because it would take 10-12 days to be published That in the effect meant that I was being asked to discontinue my column since I had a regular fortnightly slot I asked the editorial pages editor of The News that very question - to which she finally said that ‘yes that is the case’ I then said to her that I am not going to send a piece and then wait 10-12 days for it to be published and that the regular slot began after her newspaper had invited me to write regularly - clearly if the editorial pages editor of The News wanted to take the regular slot away she should have told me as such instead of giving a lame reason - to send pieces with a “longer shelf life” Also since I have had the experience of working on the editorial pages of three national newspapers (edited two of them) I know that good pages that will be read are those that are topical and relate to current issues. The fact of the matter is that if I publish an comment piece here on Twitter/X I get more engagement and views than if it were published only on the newspaper And the other thing is that The News wasn’t paying me a dime - that’s actually something they said that they wouldn’t be able to do when they invited me to write and I agreed to it knowing well that apart from one or two publications none of them pay their columnists and contributors (although they stand to gain commercially by publishing the articles through digital ad revenue and by using the names of their writers to attract readers and gain in reputation) My piece which I sent for this week was on the PIMS tragedy I have now withdrawn it and will no longer be writing for The News

Talks not bullets in AJK HRCP’s investigative report testifies that excessive and disproportionate use was used against protesters in AJK. It rightly emphasises dialogue rather than coercion to resolve a political crises that has deepened the alienation of Kashmiris on this side of LoC as well. ‘Disproportionate use of force deepened polarisation in AJK` https://t.co/4JAWbie6y9

Government ha barricaded Capital and ready to fight back PTI’s March 4Oct but not terrorism. Why have all security operations so far failed in Pakhtunkhwa in the last decades? Who has been responsible? Current CM Afridi? Gen Zia, Gen Musharraf, Gen Bajwa and rest of them? Who should resign and sacked? CM KPK or Interior Minister Naqvi resign; bosses of security forces running a failed policy in the province or local police.
