Early reading. We have captured 2 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 2 interactions against 117K followers, an engagement rate of 0.002%. Posts are seen about 516 times each, and 0.484% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.441% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.07 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 7% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 09:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 2 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 77 interactions, about 39x its own typical post. Only 2 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. He Was Among Us – Dr. Mohamed Morsi As we mark the anniversary of the martyrdom of President Dr. Mohamed Morsi, we are reminded of a legacy and principles that will endure as long as Egypt and our nation have lifeblood coursing through them. It remains a dream pursued by the honorable, a voice resounding across the horizons, uniting the free. His words and actions continue to evoke a past that renews itself and an unwavering ideology—standing firm against projects of destruction and subjugation. As Zionist aggression escalates unchecked—with this criminal entity assaulting the region from occupied Palestine to Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, and Iran—and as the coup regime bars even solidarity protests near the Gaza border, we recall the man who declared, “We will not abandon Gaza,” and backed his words with relentless action, forcing the occupation to withdraw from Gaza within days. He proved that Palestine was, and will remain, our compass—the central cause. For him, Palestine was never mere political rhetoric or a diplomatic dossier, but a matter of identity, justice, and the dignity of an entire nation. When we witness the ruinous consequences of unimaginable debt, the sell-off of Egypt’s assets, and the surrender of its sovereignty to enemies and their collaborators, we remember the man who vowed, “We must secure our own food, medicine, and arms,” and nearly achieved self-sufficiency in wheat as a first step toward independence. When Egypt’s borders are violated from all sides—by the Zionist occupation to the east, international and regional forces entrenching military bases in western Libya under a fascist regime’s protection, and threats to the Nile’s waters escalating as adversaries advance to Jebel Uweinat in the south—we remember the man who proclaimed, “A single drop of Egypt’s water taken from us will be repaid with our blood.” We remember the leader who urged both supporters and opponents to shield the military from political strife, ensuring it remained a vanguard force defending Egypt’s borders against all encroachment. When Egypt’s regional and global stature crumbles, leaving it sidelined in resolving crises, we recall the president whom world leaders engaged as the representative of a resurgent Egypt—one reclaiming its rightful place and respect. Today, Egypt is not without sincere men—across all factions—who will restore its dignity, casting off the oppression and disgrace heaped upon it by the coup in these barren years. We await the day Egypt reclaims its standing, achieves its aspirations, and marches toward its destiny—for all its people. That day, we trust, is near. “And that is not difficult for Allah.” Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hussein Acting General Guide of the #MuslimBrotherhood Tuesday, 21 Dhul-Hijjah 1446 AH / 17 June 2025 CE

Statement on the Decision of the U.S. President to Begin Procedures for Designating the Muslim Brotherhood as a Terrorist Organization The #Muslim_Brotherhood affirms its complete rejection of the decision issued by U.S. President Donald #Trump to begin procedures for designating the group in #Egypt as a terrorist organization — a decision that contradicts reality, disregards facts, and is linked to the group’s steadfast stance in support of the Palestinian people’s right to independence and in rejection of the genocidal wars and massacres that the Zionist occupation has consistently perpetrated against Palestinians. The Muslim Brotherhood emphasizes the following: First: This decision targets political entities that operate through peaceful means recognized by all institutions of the free world, and that uphold the values of justice and the right of peoples to self-determination and to choose their representatives and leaders. Such a designation casts doubt on the credibility of the stated U.S. policies that claim to defend freedoms and democratic values. Second: The Muslim Brotherhood has a clean record and a clear history and is not concerned with any accusations of terrorism. The group has always been, and remains, an integral part of the Egyptian national fabric. It has never resorted to violence to attain power nor called for it. No acts harming state security or sovereignty have ever been recorded against it throughout its history. The group founded a political party that won the first free and transparent parliamentary and presidential elections in modern Egyptian history, in which President Dr. #Mohamed_Morsi was elected. His year in office was a year distinguished by civil liberties, as acknowledged by international institutions, including the report presented to the UK House of Commons in 2015, which affirmed that the group acts as a barrier against extremist currents. Third: The decision, which bases its accusations on the group’s support for the Palestinian people’s right to liberation from occupation, represents a prelude to targeting all active movements and living forces in the region—indeed, all free people around the world who rose by the millions across Muslim and many other countries to reject the genocide in #Palestine. Fourth: The decision constitutes a renewed attempt to divert attention from the ongoing genocide against civilians in Palestine and from those responsible for it. Instead of supporting international efforts to hold the perpetrators accountable, the U.S. administration has chosen to shield them—evidenced by the fact that the Prime Minister of the occupation, who is wanted for arrest and prosecution, was among the first to welcome the decision. Fifth: The decision reflects a clear bias toward authoritarian regimes in the Middle East, which have long records of human rights violations. It sends a negative message to Arab and Muslim peoples that there is no place in the world for those who defend freedom through peaceful means, thereby feeding into extremist currents. We affirm that this direction will not endure, for the American people, civil society institutions, the press, and free nations around the world are all capable of distinguishing between reform movements and human rights violators. Sixth: The Muslim #Brotherhood will never abandon its support for the Palestinian people’s right to liberation and national independence, regardless of the sacrifices. Seventh: The decision comes amid escalating waves of #Islamophobia and attempts to target Muslims worldwide, coinciding with rising tides of hatred and exclusion. In conclusion, we call on all who believe in the values of #justice and #freedom around the world to stand against attempts to criminalize peaceful political activity and to defend the right of peoples to #independence and #dignity. We also affirm that our approach is one of constructive dialogue, and that we remain open to all serious discussions at the Arab and Western levels to clarify our reformist and peaceful methodology aimed at achieving prosperity and development for societies. The Muslim Brotherhood -by the grace of God- will remain steadfast, adhering to its principles and overcoming these attempts with even greater strength and resilience. On the Anniversary of Imam al-Banna’s Martyrdom… A Short Life Filled with Sacrifice and Selflessness On this day, Imam Hassan Al-Banna attained martyrdom in the arena of sacrifice and selflessness, after a short life that was nonetheless rich in service to the cause of God. He devoted himself to great missions, reigniting enthusiasm in the hearts of millions and restoring hope to the Muslim Ummah after it had nearly been lost. Fully aware that this path was long, its burdens heavy, and its sacrifices immense, he gave his life willingly and selflessly for the sake of God. Imam Al-Banna placed the building of the human being at the heart of his comprehensive reform project. He believed that genuine change begins with nurturing the true Muslim, shaping the conscious individual, establishing the cohesive family, and forming a society capable of bearing responsibility—thus paving the way for restoring the standing of the Ummah, which it had lost after leading the world for more than a thousand years, spreading love and mercy, and upholding the highest values of morality and virtue. O Allah, just as he offered his soul in sacrifice for Your religion, raise his rank among the highest stations, accept him among the martyrs, accept his efforts and struggle, and prepare for our Ummah a generation that carries the trust, raises the banner, and continues along the path. The Muslim Brotherhood affirms that the Israeli occupation army's attack on a diplomatic delegation—including ambassadors from Arab and foreign countries—in Jenin is a natural consequence of the international community’s silence and inability to stop the massacres committed by the occupation. This comes after more than six hundred days of war, during which over fifty thousand martyrs have fallen, most of them women and children, in addition to the widespread destruction of infrastructure in both the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. While the Brotherhood strongly condemns these crimes, which constitute a blatant violation of diplomatic laws and norms, it also expresses deep dismay at the Arab and Islamic inaction regarding this central cause. The group emphasizes the importance of taking firm positions against the occupying entity and the crimes it continues to commit against humanity. The ongoing genocide in the Gaza Strip—through starvation and the complete closure of all border crossings for the third consecutive month—is a heinous crime that demands urgent international and regional intervention to reopen the crossings and ensure the delivery of basic necessities to the residents of Gaza. On its founding anniversary... The Muslim Brotherhood: We renew our pledge with Allah and will remain loyal to our nation This year, the founding anniversary of the "Muslim Brotherhood" group comes amidst serious challenges and many changes facing the Islamic nation, which now stands face to face with its enemies, after they have gathered their strength, united their word, and assembled their scattered forces to achieve one goal and reach a specific end: weakening our nation, confronting every attempt to revive it, and striving with all their might to deplete its wealth, seize its will, and rob it of its freedom. The circle of conflict, whose flames are widening and intensity is increasing on the land of Palestine, and the escalation of killing its people, destroying its infrastructure, and annihilating its crops and offspring, was the most prominent sign of these challenges, amidst efforts being made to crush Islamic peoples and impose tyrannical regimes upon them that do not represent their ambitions or express their will, but rather confiscate their right to life and squander their hopes for the future. Throughout its long journey since its founding by the martyred Imam Hassan al-Banna (may God have mercy on him), the "Muslim Brotherhood" group has given great importance to the issue of Palestine, which has remained and will remain the central issue of the nation. It has defined its approach to dealing with it by mobilizing all possible energies to support its resistance and defend its sanctities. It has recognized from the beginning the danger of planting this usurping entity and cultivating this evil seed in the region, and has striven with all its might to eradicate it, confront its dangers, and oppose all official attempts to normalize relations with it, accept it, or compromise the nation's right and the Palestinian people's right to be rid of it. At the same time, throughout its long journey, the "Muslim Brotherhood" group has confronted the efforts made by colonialism to manufacture tyranny in our Arab region and sponsor regimes that have broken away from the will of their peoples and leaned towards their enemy, in support and endorsement, seeking a fleeting position and coveting a vanishing reward. The group has mobilized its energies – along with all the vital forces in the nation – to confront the tyrants and alert the peoples to their right to freedom, without falling into the quagmire of civil strife. For a Hijri century, the group has striven to create hope among Islamic peoples, motivate them towards independence and freedom, and align them towards justice, upon which God has built the universe: "And the heaven He has raised high, and has set the balance. That you exceed not the balance, but observe the balance with justice, and fall not short in the balance." (Quran, Ar-Rahman: 7-9). The challenges facing the nation require the group to lead and unite, and every sincere person for his nation and lover of his religion to exert every effort, prepare, and stir up resolve to preserve the unity of our nation, create awareness among it of the danger of hostile projects and the risks of the challenges it faces, and lead it towards freedom and dignity, based on firm principles, origins, and constants, while making every effort to keep pace with reality and developments, and cooperating with all active forces and currents, so that our nation can assume its rightful place in the world and fulfill its duty of bearing witness to all people: "Thus We have made you a just community, that you will be witnesses over the people and the Messenger will be a witness over you." (Quran, Al-Baqarah: 143). As it enters a new century of struggle against colonialism and tyranny, the "Muslim Brotherhood" group renews its covenant of allegiance with God Almighty, and then with its nation, to remain loyal to its principles, exert effort for the unity of peoples, refuse to compromise the nation's right to freedom, and adhere to the path of God in calling to Him with insight: "Say, "This is my way; I invite to Allah with insight, I and those who follow me. And exalted is Allah ; and I am not of those who associate others with Him." (Quran, Yusuf: 108). O God, we ask You for steadfastness in our affairs, determination in righteousness, and success, guidance, and victory for our nation, so that it may assume its rightful place and regain its glory. God is the greatest, and praise be to God. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Hussein Acting General Guide of the "Muslim Brotherhood" Group Friday, 21 Ramadan 1446 AH - March 21, 2025 AD

The Muslim Brotherhood affirms that the takeover of the city of Al-Fashir -or parts of it- by rebel militias represents a dangerous step paving the way for the division of #Sudan and a grave threat to its unity and sovereignty. The Brotherhood condemns the weak regional and international media coverage of the crimes and violations committed against the Sudanese people since the outbreak of war in April 2023 and calls on Arab and Islamic nations to extend a helping hand to their brothers in Sudan and to fulfill their humanitarian and religious duty toward them. The Brotherhood also holds the international community, as well as Arab and Islamic states, responsible for what is happening in Sudan, and urges an urgent and serious action to stop the war, protect civilians, and preserve Sudan’s security, stability, and territorial unity. The Muslim Brotherhood: Our record is clean, and we are committed to peaceful action in the face of the coup. The "Muslim Brotherhood" group affirms that its record is clean, that it stands with the Egyptian people, and offers sacrifices to preserve their gains through all peaceful means and methods, without getting involved in bloodshed or accepting any conflict or civil strife that only benefits the enemies of the nation. The group also reaffirms its firm stances towards strengthening state institutions, foremost among them the armed forces, to be ready to face all challenges surrounding the region. This strength will only be achieved by their devotion to performing their duties in preserving Egypt's national security, which is threatened by dangers on all fronts. The group has previously announced in earlier statements, the latest of which was issued in 2019 –and still confirms– its non-affiliation with the so-called "Hasm movement," and that the group's positions are clear and evident in rejecting violence and committing to peaceful action in the face of the coup. It has previously warned –and still warns– against the coup's use of such events and scenes to kill innocent people and increase repression against the people.
