Ian Poulter engagement report
@IanJamesPoulter - 2.0M followers on X
Measured over 1 original post from a 30-day window, last computed on September 1, 2026.
Engagement
Early reading. We have captured 1 original post for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.
A typical post picks up 154 interactions against 2.0M followers, an engagement rate of 0.008%. Measured over 1 original post, its engagement rate beats 73% of tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 56K times each, and 0.274% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 2.83% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.03 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 3% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 1 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 47K interactions, about 318x its own typical post. Only 1 original post have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

Compared with accounts its own size
Ian Poulter's engagement rate beats 73% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count. A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.008%, Ian Poulter sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Oh f*ck off. Enough of this nonsense. Iโll be offended if I donโt get called โSirโ - what about MY rights? I respect trans peopleโs right to exist and to fairness/equality - but we canโt rewrite all gender specific language to cater for a tiny minority.

My thoughts of @TrumpGolfDC this week for @livgolf_league Virginia ๐บ๐ธ - Beast of a golf course this. Youโll use the top end of the bag this week, more long irons than normal ๐ช๐ผ - Early in the week the greens were firm so some pins will be hard to get at ๐ฏ - Very good hard course with putting surfaces rolling really pure ๐ณ - Will need to drive the ball very well this week ๐๏ธ Letโs go team @MajesticksGC ๐๐ผ

Steyn City course breakdown for @livgolf_league South Africa ๐ฟ๐ฆ 1. Altitude conversion is about 10% because we are at 5000ft above sea level. so most players who play in yards will play a Meters book instead as thatโs the 10% already sorted. 2. โ The course has had lots of rainfall and the Kikuyu rough is super heavy. So missing greens or fairways will cause trouble. 3. โ Small green complexes and slower green speeds to last week. Means youโll need to be aggressive on the putts 4. โ Scoring will be pretty low so everyone will be aggressive. Letโs go @MajesticksGC ๐ช๐ผ

- What is Ian Poulter's engagement rate on X?
- Ian Poulter (@IanJamesPoulter) has an engagement rate of 0.008%, based on the median interactions across 1 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,980,299 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.008%, Ian Poulter sits above the 10th percentile of the 37,071 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @IanJamesPoulter have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 73% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count, which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @IanJamesPoulter post?
- Most posts go out around 14:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.03 posts per day across the measured window.
