A typical post picks up 212 interactions against 1.7M followers, an engagement rate of 0.013%. Measured over 14 original posts, its engagement rate beats 42% of 1,003 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 22K times each, and 0.965% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.29% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.47 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 33% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 14 posts sampled, 93% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 950 interactions, about 4.5x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size

Hassan Ali Joho, EGH.'s engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 47% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.013%, Hassan Ali Joho, EGH. sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.007% to 0.047%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 9,981 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 447,404 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

PRESS RELEASE   For Immediate Release   CS HASSAN ALI JOHO SUSPENDS TATA CHEMICALS MAGADI MINING OPERATIONS OVER REGULATORY NON-COMPLIANCE   NAIROBI, 29 July 2026 –The Cabinet Secretary for Mining, Blue Economy and Maritime Affairs, Hon. Hassan Ali Joho, has ordered the immediate suspension of all mining operations by Tata Chemicals Magadi Limited until the company fully complies with the Mining Act, its Regulations and all other applicable laws governing Kenya's mining sector.   The decision follows years of sustained engagement between the State Department for Mining and Tata Chemicals MagadiLimited regarding its statutory obligations under the Mining Act, Cap. 306, the Mining (Licence and Permit) Regulations2017, the Mining (Royalty Collection and Management) Regulations 2024, and other relevant legal frameworks.   Despite these engagements, several critical compliance issues remain unresolved including lack of a clear mineral beneficiation/value addition strategy, outstanding royalty reconciliation and payment obligations, insufficient export reporting and reconciliation, poor implementation of Community Development Agreements (CDA), inadequate employment and skills transfer plan for Kenyan citizens, weak procurement of local goods and services, and environmental compliance shortfalls.   The company has, therefore, been directed to submit comprehensive documentation and evidence demonstrating full compliance with all the statutory obligations and to address any outstanding liabilities before it can resume operations.   CS Joho reassures that the Ministryremains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring that Kenya's mineral resources are exploited responsibly, sustainably, and in a manner that delivers maximum economic value to the country while safeguarding the environment and protecting the interests of host communities.   ENDS…

Earlier today, I paid a courtesy call on H.E. @A_S_Nassir, Governor of Mombasa County, at his office where we held fruitful discussions on the importance of strengthening unity, cohesion and collaboration across the Coast Region. By working together, speaking with one voice and building bridges across our communities, we will unlock greater opportunities for the Coast and secure a more prosperous future for its people. I was accompanied by my Cabinet colleague, Hon. @HonAdenDuale (Health) and Principal Secretary @fikirini_jacobs (.Youth Affairs and Creative Economy).

We remain focused in our commitment to advancing the blue economy as a strategic pillar for enhancing food security, creating jobs and expanding economic opportunities for young people. The vessel’s scientific work will expand our understanding of the vast resources within our oceans, strengthening knowledge on marine productivity, sustainability, and effective resource management. Equally important is the collaboration between the vessel’s research team and Kenyan scientists, which will enhance local capacity, advance maritime research, and contribute to the sustainable development of our ocean economy.

As leaders from the Coast region, we condemn in the strongest possible terms the reckless and unfortunate remarks made by Hon. Rigathi Gachagua, which appear calculated to undermine the tourism sector, the lifeblood of our regional economy, and discourage investment in the Coast. Such statements are not only irresponsible but also detrimental to the livelihoods of millions of Kenyans who depend directly and indirectly on tourism, hospitality, transport, trade and other sectors driven by a thriving coastal economy. Unfortunately, we are not surprised by these utterances. For many years, there have been individuals who have viewed the Coast through the lens of exclusion and political expediency often seeking to destabilize our economy for selfish political gain. This pattern of divisive politics has, for decades, denied our people the opportunities and recognition they deserve. The people of the Coast will no longer be distracted by politics of fear, division or economic sabotage. We remain committed to safeguarding our tourism industry, protecting jobs and creating an environment that welcomes investors and visitors from across Kenya and around the world. It is for this reason that we continue to support H.E. President Dr. William Ruto. Under his leadership, the Coast region has experienced a renewed sense of inclusion and partnership in national development after many years of feeling marginalized.

What is Hassan Ali Joho, EGH.'s engagement rate on X?
Hassan Ali Joho, EGH. (@HassanAliJoho) has an engagement rate of 0.013%, based on the median interactions across 14 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,692,258 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.013%, Hassan Ali Joho, EGH. sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,981 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @HassanAliJoho have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 42% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (1,003 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @HassanAliJoho post?
Most posts go out around 17:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.47 posts per day across the measured window.
