A typical post picks up 0 interactions against 162K followers, an engagement rate of 0%. Measured over 21 original posts, its engagement rate beats 0% of 20,689 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 225 times each, and 0% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.139% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.4 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 21 posts sampled, 71% carry an image or video and 24% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 111 interactions, about 111x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #hourglass, #monthlyrecap, #saferageing.

Compared with accounts its own size

Gerard Woodhouse's engagement rate beats 0% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,689 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 0% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0%, Gerard Woodhouse sits below the 10th percentile of the 208,566 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.025%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 24% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 59 characters, which falls in the under 80 characters band. Across the catalog, posts under 80 characters run 8% below the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Andy Burnham has drawn criticism for promoting an unpaid work experience scheme by Sainsbury's. The prime minister last week announced the supermarket chain would offer 10,000 placements to young people from October, with a focus on those receiving free school meals, as part of his government’s bid to tackle youth unemployment. But critics noted that Sainsbury's laid off 3,000 workers in 2025 despite posting more than £1bn in operating profits, and accused the prime minister of helping the company to exploit free labour from underprivileged communities. “Andy Burnham promised to ‘end neoliberalism’ but supporting a scheme to provide free labour for billion-pound companies will only serve to perpetuate it,” Martin Abrams, the Green party leader of Lambeth Council, wrote on X. “Lambeth's young people deserve better than this; quality apprenticeships and training that provide them with the skills, experience and pay to live and thrive in our borough.” Burnham, along with London mayor Sadiq Khan, visited a branch of Sainsbury’s in Lambeth to promote the scheme. Other critics noted that Lord Sainsbury – whose great-grandfather founded the company and who is still a shareholder via his Gatsby Charitable Foundation – is a major donor to the Labour party and recently gave Burnham £160,000 for his uncontested leadership campaign. Writing in the National, journalist Hamish Morrison accused Burnham of giving Sainsbury’s a “PR bung”. He added that, although Lord Sainsbury is no longer involved in running the company, “it did seem fairly interesting that a company with which he had a longstanding historical connection – not to mention a multi-million pound interest in, albeit indirectly – got this boost from the government.” Sainsbury’s told the newspaper the placements will not replace the work of paid employees, and will instead focus on things like CV-building workshops. “They aren't doing the work of paid colleagues or filling employee roles,” a spokesperson said. Job vacancies for UK university graduates have plummeted to their lowest level in decades, according to figures for July released by the recruitment website Adzuna.

“If the government was attempting to create a right which virtually no workers could qualify for or be able to enforce – they could not have done a better job” Labour promised to ban zero hours contracts. Then that promise shifted to banning "exploitative" zero hours contracts - whatever that means? Obviously the business lobby will be pushing hard to ensure the final legislation is as watered-down and meaningless as possible. We need the ban we were promised, no ambiguity, no loopholes, no exemptions. https://t.co/LGEfTe4gud…

What is Gerard Woodhouse's engagement rate on X?
Gerard Woodhouse (@GerardWoodhous1) has an engagement rate of 0%, based on the median interactions across 21 original posts from the last 30 days against 161,533 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0%, Gerard Woodhouse sits below the 10th percentile of the 208,566 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @GerardWoodhous1 have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 0% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,689 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @GerardWoodhous1 post?
Most posts go out around 19:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.4 posts per day across the measured window.
