A typical post picks up 1 interaction against 151K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 40 original posts, its engagement rate beats 3% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 487 times each, and 0.205% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.322% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.3 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Wednesday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 40 posts sampled, 98% carry an image or video and 28% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 418 interactions, about 418x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #family, #secret, #shorts.

Compared with accounts its own size

George Hatcher Sr.'s engagement rate beats 3% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 11% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.001%, George Hatcher Sr. sits below the 10th percentile of the 205,475 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.024%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,475 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,893 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 04:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 98% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 28% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 109 characters, which falls in the 80 - 180 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 80 to 180 characters run 3% below the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Rest In Peace Dear Hope September 19, 2026 Dear Hope: Please forgive me for being the one who agreed with the doctor that it was time to let you go. It was the last loving thing we could do for you—and it continues to be one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. You were always the ruling queen of this house, keeping Fiona and Madison in line right up until this past month. Then you began slowing down, and suddenly you seemed to decline right before our eyes. After five trips to the vet, examinations, blood work, and days of barely eating, everything looked too grim. Your quality of life was slipping away, and we couldn’t take the chance that you were suffering. You weren’t “just a cat.” Why would I distinguish you from any other member of our family? You belonged to us, and we belonged to you. You were loved deeply—especially by your mama, whose closest kitty you always were. For the past couple of weeks, you spent most of your time here in my office, curled up at the foot of my desk. Madison would join us, and you would stay until I finally went to bed late at night. Then, after sleeping in, you would come back again the next morning. I’m going to miss looking down and seeing you there. I know Madison will miss you too. We adopted you years ago from our niece Leah. She always found comfort in knowing that you had a wonderful home and that we loved you completely. I know her heart will be broken by this too. You made it to 17 years old, plus a few precious months. I wanted you to stay so much longer. We don’t always get what we want, ask for, or wish for—but I am profoundly grateful for every year you gave us. I’ve been told that cats aren’t afraid of death—that what they worry about is whether the people they leave behind will be okay. So I promise you, Hope: we’re going to be okay. We’re going to miss you tremendously, but we will be okay. Maybe you’ll find Fiona again. You two never got along especially well here, but you’re going somewhere peaceful now. There won’t be any arguments there. Thank you for giving yourself so completely to this family. Thank you for all the love, companionship, and memories. Rest peacefully, beautiful girl. Mama and I love you. We love you. We always will

Reading these numbers

A typical post picks up 1 interaction against 151K followers, an engagement rate of 0.001%. Measured over 40 original posts, its engagement rate beats 3% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size. That is a reason to look at how the audience behaves - reply depth, saves, whether the followers are recent - rather than a conclusion about it on its own. Posts are seen about 487 times each, and 0.205% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.322% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Of the 40 posts sampled, 98% carry an image or video and 28% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 418 interactions, about 418x its own typical post. What is George Hatcher Sr.'s engagement rate on X?
George Hatcher Sr. (@GeorgeHatcher) has an engagement rate of 0.001%, based on the median interactions across 40 original posts from the last 30 days against 151,234 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.001%, George Hatcher Sr. sits below the 10th percentile of the 205,475 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @GeorgeHatcher have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 3% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the bottom 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @GeorgeHatcher post?
Most posts go out around 04:00 UTC, and Wednesday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.33 posts per day across the measured window.
