A typical post picks up 215 interactions against 1.6M followers, an engagement rate of 0.014%. Measured over 45 original posts, its engagement rate beats 45% of 983 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 25K times each, and 0.844% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.62% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 45 posts sampled, 96% carry an image or video and 7% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 115K interactions, about 537x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #jobsandwaternow, #mandlangacommission, #votemayibuye2026.

Compared with accounts its own size

Floyd Shivambu's engagement rate beats 45% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (983 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 48% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.014%, Floyd Shivambu sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,668 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.006% to 0.046%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 9,668 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 457,772 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

This account posts most often around 06:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 96% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 79% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 7% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 49% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 255 characters, which falls in the 180 - 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts of 180 to 280 characters run 5% below the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Statement attributable to the FIFA President The FIFA Forward Enterprise project was intended to provide a basis for further strengthening our FIFA Member Associations and our sport worldwide, especially in those countries where support is most needed. And more so, as we said from the outset, to do this only if a majority of the FIFA Member Associations were in support and always subject to a consultation process with them, the FIFA Council, the Confederations and wider stakeholders. Having listened carefully to all the views, it has become clear that the project has created divisions of a nature that, regardless of the level of support, are no longer in the interest of the objective set out in the first place. Our purpose has always been - and will always be - to unite and improve. As a result, this proposal will not proceed. Moving forward, my intent is to bring all interested parties back together in the coming days and weeks in the spirit of shared interest in our game, and with the objective to continue growing football everywhere, particularly in those countries that mostly need our support.

General Mkhwanazi is raising a legitimate and valid point about tenders. Why is government issuing tenders while there is an option of building internal capacity to delivery services directly? Tenders are at the centre of corruption by all the political parties currently in government. Mayibuye’s policy is centred on building solid government capacity to build and maintain public infrastructure, and not tenders. It is Jobs, Water and Service Delivery Now! Yesterday, the 5th of August 2026, we were victims of theft at the Waterfront in Cape Town before attending the MAYIBUYE Councillor candidates verification meeting. A thief whose images we later found from the Waterfront Security/Control Room broke into the hired car we were using and stole the travel handbag, hand bag, and backpack which had a laptop (MacBook Pro), 2 iPads, watches, personal ID cards, Bank cards, and other basic necessities. We opened a police case with the SAPS in Cape Case registered on 2026-08-05 at TABLE BAY HARBOUR Police Station. ref nr CAS 9/8/2026. The contact number of the Police Station is 021-4031000. There were also other theft victims who were reporting similar crimes at the police station.’ The images attached here are the photos of the alleged thief retrieved by the @VandAWaterfront Security/Control room and handed over to the SAPS. We hope the culprits will be arrested and the stolen items recovered. We soldier on and no amount of distraction will stop our march towards victory! No retreat!

What is Floyd Shivambu's engagement rate on X?
Floyd Shivambu (@FloydShivambu) has an engagement rate of 0.014%, based on the median interactions across 45 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,574,053 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.014%, Floyd Shivambu sits above the 25th percentile of the 9,668 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @FloydShivambu have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 45% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (983 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @FloydShivambu post?
Most posts go out around 06:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.2 posts per day across the measured window.
