Early reading. We have captured 5 original posts for this account, below the 8 we require before treating a median as settled. The numbers above describe what we have seen so far, not a finished profile of the account.

A typical post picks up 17 interactions against 341K followers, an engagement rate of 0.005%. Posts are seen about 3.5K times each, and 0.488% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.02% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.57 post a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 47% of days. Most posts go out around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 5 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 20% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 43 interactions, about 2.5x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #internationaldayofpeace, #internationalidentityday2026, #srsp. Only 5 original posts have been captured so far, fewer than the 8 posts we want behind a median before treating it as settled. Read the figures above as an early measurement of this account, not as a finished profile of it.

This account posts most often around 10:00 UTC, and Sunday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

Today in Mogadishu, I was pleased to join the launch of Somalia’s National Policy on the Protection of Civilians during Military Operations and Armed Conflict. In my remarks, I welcomed the Policy as an important framework for strengthening civilian protection and accountability, and emphasised the independent oversight role of @Somalia_NIHRC. The Commission will monitor implementation, engage affected communities, examine civilian harm and complaints, and make recommendations in accordance with its mandate. I also stressed that civilian protection must ultimately be measured by the experience of civilians themselves, and by whether lessons learned lead to better protection in future operations.

At the GANHRI Annual Conference in Geneva, I underscored that the digital space presents both important opportunities and evolving risks, including the spread of misinformation. As #Somalia’s National Independent Human Rights Commission, we look forward to enhanced support from OHCHR and partners to further strengthen our institutional capacity in addressing these challenges.

On International Day to End Obstetric Fistula, we remember every woman who has suffered a preventable childbirth injury because care came too late, too far away, or not at all. As someone who previously spearheaded Somalia’s national campaign to end obstetric fistula and championed the Campaign on Accelerated Reduction of Maternal Mortality in Africa, I know that ending fistula requires investment, skilled maternal care, emergency obstetric services, and sustained public awareness. Today, as Chair of the National Independent Human Rights Commission, I also reaffirm that women’s health is not a privilege. It is a right. Ending fistula is about dignity, equality, and the protection of women’s lives. #EndFistula #MaternalHealth #HumanRights #Somalia

It was a pleasure to receive @UNZenenga at the Commission’s headquarters in Mogadishu yesterday. We had a valuable discussion on the UN human rights transition, the growing role of NIHRC, and strengthening our partnership with the UN to support an effective, independent and accessible national human rights institution in Somalia. We also discussed national ownership, strengthening the Commission’s capacity for human rights monitoring and reporting, and the importance of sustained cooperation as Somali institutions take an increasingly central role in protecting and promoting the rights of our people.
