Measured over 205 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 148 interactions against 5.4M followers, an engagement rate of 0.003%. Measured over 205 original posts, its engagement rate beats 28% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 52K times each, and 0.286% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 0.951% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 19.5 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 70% of days. Most posts go out around 23:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Compared with accounts its own size
Dinesh D'Souza's engagement rate beats 28% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 10 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 26% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.003%, Dinesh D'Souza sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the bottom 25% band, which runs below 0.012%.

This account posts most often around 23:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

I am standing in the pit into which the prophet Jeremiah was thrown in the 6th century BC. Modern archaeology has confirmed that the people, places and events of the Bible are real. My new book “The Stones Cry Out” tells this thrilling story of discovery. https://t.co/aYQsKrshOY

The disproportionate and bullying commentary and coverage of Jason Arday’s mistakes has been obviously dangerous for days. Yes it was a legitimate story, and in various ways a troubling one. But the relentless coverage, the vitriol and bile. The clip of a man talking about us needing more love in the world endlessly mocked. Compare it to the way others who embellished and invented life stories or floated seemingly naive ideas are forgiven. Obviously employers have duties of care. But spare us the pity of those who weaponised his story for social media clicks without a thought.

The best thing you can do for someone living in self-delusion is to calmly, firmly dispel those illusions. Cambridge did the opposite. It upheld, authenticated and credentialed Jason Arday’s self-delusions. In the end, Arday had to face reality, and it proved too much for him. https://t.co/6MoCwsKBbx

Imagine working all day, every day; putting your time, energy, and life into your job. Then, someone from some country across the world, who broke our laws, demands your paycheck. Sounds crazy, right? I think so. Do you agree? https://t.co/Xhi0ypkYWI

- What is Dinesh D'Souza's engagement rate on X?
- Dinesh D'Souza (@DineshDSouza) has an engagement rate of 0.003%, based on the median interactions across 205 original posts from the last 30 days against 5,444,499 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.003%, Dinesh D'Souza sits above the 10th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DineshDSouza have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 28% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @DineshDSouza post?
- Most posts go out around 23:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 19.47 posts per day across the measured window.
