A typical post picks up 3.3K interactions against 440K followers, an engagement rate of 0.742%. Measured over 41 original posts, its engagement rate beats 93% of 4,273 tracked accounts of a similar size. Comparing inside a size band matters here: engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly just re-measure the follower count. Posts are seen about 42K times each, and 7.85% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 9.45% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.8 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on almost every day in the window. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Saturday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 41 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 8.9K interactions, about 2.7x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #uganda, #freeallpoliticalprisonersinuganda, #10k4karamoja.

Compared with accounts its own size

David Lewis Rubongoya's engagement rate beats 93% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (4,273 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 97% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.742%, David Lewis Rubongoya sits above the 75th percentile of the 41,462 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the top 25% band, which runs 0.446% to 2.07%.

Posting timing

This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Thanks to the amazing technical team at @NUP_Ug, I've been able to regain control of this account. Yesterday morning, as I typed a tribute for the late Yasin Kawuma who was brutally murdered 8 years ago on 13th August 2018, the account was hijacked midway and I lost control of it. These amazing guys swang into action and immediately prevented further damage. Can't thank them enough for being able to outmanoeuvre the evil schemes by our detractorsπŸ‘ŒπŸΎπŸ‘πŸΎβœŠπŸΎπŸ™πŸ½

Passed by Kiruddu hospital this evening to check on our comrade Paul Musoke who suffered severe burns when the house in which he was, was attacked, locked and set on fire. According to the medical team, his condition is critical but stable. We shall be hoping for an independent and quick investigation to establish the motive of the attack. Hopefully the perpetrator(s) will be brought to book! Wishing him a full recovery.

Very sad to announce that our brother Paul Musoke could not make it. He passed away a short while ago after a brave fight against the severe injuries he sustained in last week's horrific arson attack. We remain hopeful that in due course, those who masterminded the cruel act leading to this tragedy will face justice. May his soul rest in peace.

What is David Lewis Rubongoya's engagement rate on X?
David Lewis Rubongoya (@DavidLRubongoya) has an engagement rate of 0.742%, based on the median interactions across 41 original posts from the last 30 days against 440,462 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.742%, David Lewis Rubongoya sits above the 75th percentile of the 41,462 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @DavidLRubongoya have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 93% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (4,273 accounts), which puts it in the top 10% for its size group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @DavidLRubongoya post?
Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Saturday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.8 posts per day across the measured window.
