Dan Crenshaw engagement report
@DanCrenshawTX - 1.3M followers on X
Measured over 10 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 31, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 985 interactions against 1.3M followers, an engagement rate of 0.077%. Measured over 10 original posts, its engagement rate beats 68% of 3,862 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 54K times each, and 1.81% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 4.28% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.77 post a day over the last 30 days, though only 30% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 21:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 10 posts sampled, 50% carry an image or video, 20% are part of a thread and 20% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 47K interactions, about 48x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Dan Crenshaw's engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 9 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 67% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.077%, Dan Crenshaw sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.012% to 0.081%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 21:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Yesterday, using multiple one-way attack surface drones, CENTCOM forces successfully struck a submarine and ship maintenance facility in Iran. Three Corsair unmanned surface vessels hit the port at Bandar Abbas Naval Base, marking the first time American forces have employed sea drones in combat operations. Last night’s strikes degraded Iran’s ability to continue attacking commercial shipping.

Just hearing about this dumb $20 burrito debate so just thought I’d make the losers on social media angry before going to bed. Stop whining, get a job, eat Ramen like the rest of us did in college, on a budget with 4 roommates. The market doesn’t care what you think something “should” cost. Only communists care (they set prices remember? Then everyone starves, remember?) Are you a communist? Or are you an American adult male capable of handling his own shit?

Lindsey Graham was an old-school statesman – a rare thing in politics today. Charming and quick-witted, but always serious when it mattered. And he never wavered in his belief that America must lead the world, stand by its allies, and defeat its enemies. Rest in peace, Lindsey. You will be missed.

The media wants you to believe Border Patrol is dropping a massive steel wall through Big Bend National Park. Not true. Inside the park, there’s a 17 mile stretch of vehicle barriers, patrol roads, cameras, and sensors. No walls. No “destroying Big Bend.” No outrage necessary. Just stopping illegal crossings of our border, like we should.

Congrats to the self-serving VFW! They convinced a small handful of Republicans to side with Democrats to fuck over combat wounded veterans and surviving spouses. Why? So they could keep bullshit “disability” ratings on bullshit conditions like sleep apnea and tinnitus. A condition like sleep apnea cannot at all be linked to service and it is giving out 50% disability! For context, losing a limb in battle was rated at 30% when I was leaving service. Too many VSO’s are relics, encouraging victim hood and stupid policy that hurts veterans and the taxpayer. The VFW should be ashamed of themselves and I discourage any veteran from joining one.

Reading these numbers
A typical post picks up 985 interactions against 1.3M followers, an engagement rate of 0.077%. - What is Dan Crenshaw's engagement rate on X?
- Dan Crenshaw (@DanCrenshawTX) has an engagement rate of 0.077%, based on the median interactions across 10 original posts from the last 30 days against 1,273,179 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.077%, Dan Crenshaw sits above the 25th percentile of the 37,459 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @DanCrenshawTX have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 68% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,862 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @DanCrenshawTX post?
- Most posts go out around 21:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.77 posts per day across the measured window.
