A typical post picks up 32 interactions against 126K followers, an engagement rate of 0.025%. Measured over 35 original posts, its engagement rate beats 31% of 21,185 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 2.0K times each, and 1.56% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 1.63% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 1.7 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 70% of days. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Thursday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 35 posts sampled, 86% carry an image or video, 20% are part of a thread and 6% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 237 interactions, about 7.4x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #metal, #numetal, #portland.

Compared with accounts its own size

Cody Perez's engagement rate beats 31% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 54% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.025%, Cody Perez sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,472 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the below the median band, which runs 0.025% to 0.147%.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 6% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 542 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

Today, I am celebrating 3 years of sobriety. Three years since I made the very best decision I have ever made in my entire life. I can’t say it has always been easy, but I can say with absolute certainty that it has been worth every bit of work, discipline, and perseverance it has taken to get here. My birthday is May 8th, but September 17th is just as important to me. It is the day I took back control of my life. For me, it represents a new lease on life and a chance to live with a level of confidence, clarity, and appreciation that I never truly had before. When I was drinking, using drugs, and partying, I lost so much, including myself. Getting sober has given me far more than I could have ever imagined. It has given me back my self-respect, my credibility, my time, my energy, my peace, and my ability to love. Sobriety has also taught me that I can accomplish far more than I ever believed. There is no obstacle so big that I can’t work my way through it. I have cut toxic habits out of my life. I have cut toxic people out of my life. I no longer tolerate unhealthy friendships, bad relationships, or disrespect. I know who I am. I know what I want. And every day, I work to become a better person than I was the day before. I don’t compare my life to anyone else’s. I don’t envy what other people have or what they choose to do. My focus is on my own goals, my own growth, and the life I am building. I am beyond thankful to everyone who has stood by my side and supported the changes I have made. Your encouragement means more than you know, and it fuels my drive and passion to keep moving forward. And to anyone who gave up on me, counted me out, or hoped I would fail….well, that fuels me too. 😂 I am the most stubborn SOB you will ever know, and if you bet against me, just know I will keep working until I prove you wrong. Not out of spite, but because I know what I am capable of, and I refuse to give up on myself. I love talking about my sobriety, but I don’t push it on others. Not everyone has addiction problems or bad habits like myself. I do believe more people may be dealing with issues than they realize, but that is not my place to decide for them. What I will say is this: If you are considering getting clean and sober, you have my full support. I know how difficult that decision can be, but I also know how much it can change your life. You deserve the opportunity to experience what life can look like when you take back control of it. Here’s to another year of sobriety—and to an entire lifetime of it. 3 years down. An eternity to go. We went out to dinner last night to celebrate since we couldn’t do it tonight because of band practice. Priorities. 😂🤘 #Sober #Sobriety #Free

I seen this on a music group page and I think this is one of the dumbest things I have seen or heard people say whenever they are going to a concert. As a musician in a band, we LOVE to see people in our band shirts at our shows. It’s a great feeling. You want to know what is worst than being “that guy” is to be the guy who holds himself back from doing what he wants to do because someone else tells them what they should or shouldn’t do. Don’t be THAT guy! BE YOUR FUCKING SELF and stop worrying about what other people think of you!

This is 💯 fact. As I always say, neither side gives a fuck about YOU or what you stand for. Not even the slightest. They bait you with things that mean the most to you so you are forced to pick a side. If you side with either party, YOU are a part of the problem. When your party fucks up, and you defend your parties representatives instead of holding them accountable YOU are a big part of the problem. When are we going to wake up and realize that something needs to change in a major way? What we need is NOT going to be accomplished by the red or blue party.

What is Cody Perez's engagement rate on X?
Cody Perez (@Cody_Perez) has an engagement rate of 0.025%, based on the median interactions across 35 original posts from the last 30 days against 125,749 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.025%, Cody Perez sits above the 25th percentile of the 213,472 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @Cody_Perez have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 31% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (21,185 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @Cody_Perez post?
Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Thursday is its busiest day, at roughly 1.67 posts per day across the measured window.
