Carl Cox engagement report
@Carl_Cox - 528K followers on X
Measured over 13 original posts from a 30-day window, last computed on August 27, 2026.
Engagement
A typical post picks up 496 interactions against 528K followers, an engagement rate of 0.094%. Measured over 13 original posts, its engagement rate beats 67% of 3,774 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 20K times each, and 2.51% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 3.74% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 0.47 posts a day over the last 30 days, though only 43% of days saw any activity at all. Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Friday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 13 posts sampled, 100% carry an image or video and 23% link out. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 3.1K interactions, about 6.3x its own typical post.

Compared with accounts its own size
Carl Cox's engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 7 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.
On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 77% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.
Where this sits in the catalog
At 0.094%, Carl Cox sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.08% to 0.433%.

Posting timing
This account posts most often around 16:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day of the week. The bars below are the catalog-wide pattern, with this account's own busiest slot marked. They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Full circle moment. 🙏 Yesterday I visited King Charles at Buckingham Palace for a special event celebrating the 50th anniversary of The King's Trust. At 24, The Prince's Trust gave me £1,000 which I used to buy my first DJ equipment. The big decision back then was whether to take £500 a week as a scaffolder or £60 a week as a self-employed DJ. I chose the music, and that was that ….the rest you know. To come back all these years later, celebrating the Trust that helped me take those first steps and meeting King Charles at Buckingham Palace… that was something truly special. What a beautiful day. ✊🎶

While I was in Miami, I ended up playing a little all-vinyl set at Dante HiFi 😎 What started as a few records turned into 5 hours - just getting lost in the music and enjoying the moment. Such a special space for listening and sharing sound properly. Loved that one. Thank you. ♥️

IBIZA 😎🪐 Tonight we finally get started. The first Sunday at @unvrsibiza is here and I’ll be taking care of the music from opening right through to closing. That’s how I love it… the chance to build a journey, take some chances and see where the night takes us. I’ve been looking forward to this one for a long time. Just soaking up a little Ibiza sunshine before we head inside. This is going to be a big one. Oh yes, oh yes! 😎

Reading these numbers
- What is Carl Cox's engagement rate on X?
- Carl Cox (@Carl_Cox) has an engagement rate of 0.094%, based on the median interactions across 13 original posts from the last 30 days against 528,373 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
- Is that a good engagement rate?
- At 0.094%, Carl Cox sits above the 50th percentile of the 36,654 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
- Does @Carl_Cox have real engagement?
- Its engagement rate beats 67% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (3,774 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
- When does @Carl_Cox post?
- Most posts go out around 16:00 UTC, and Friday is its busiest day, at roughly 0.47 posts per day across the measured window.
