Además, la operación de La Derecha Diario en México ha sido relacionada públicamente con Salinas Pliego y con su estrategia de llamada “batalla cultural”. Sin embargo, mientras el caso ha generado cuestionamientos sobre el uso de redes artificiales para fabricar tendencias e influir en la conversación pública, TV Azteca no dedicó espacio en sus noticieros al hallazgo de la presunta granja de bots ni al caso de Cerimedo, pese a la cercanía que se ha documentado entre el empresario y el entorno de La Derecha Diario. La omisión resulta llamativa: cuando se trata de atacar a adversarios políticos, el aparato mediático de Salinas Pliego suele tener mucho que decir, pero cuando el escándalo toca a personajes de su propio círculo, el silencio parece ser la noticia. ¿Dónde quedó el periodismo de investigación que tanto presumen?
