A typical post picks up 253 interactions against 131K followers, an engagement rate of 0.194%. Measured over 48 original posts, its engagement rate beats 66% of 20,444 tracked accounts of a similar size, which puts it in the middle of its size range rather than at either end. Posts are seen about 20K times each, and 1.26% of those impressions turn into an interaction. That is about 15.4% of the follower count, which is the gap between an audience on paper and an audience in a timeline. Posting runs at about 2.2 posts a day over the last 30 days, with activity on roughly 53% of days. Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Monday is the busiest day of the week. Of the 48 posts sampled, 27% carry an image or video. The account's strongest tracked post pulled 25K interactions, about 98x its own typical post. Recurring topics include #extendtaxauditdate, #budget2027, #incometax.

Compared with accounts its own size

CA Chirag Chauhan's engagement rate beats 66% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts, accounts of similar size (decile 8 of 10)). A percentile is spread evenly by construction, so 50 really is the middle of that group and 90 really is its top tenth.

On engagement per impression rather than per follower it beats 48% of the same group. When those two numbers disagree, the gap is about how far its posts travel rather than how people react to them.

Where this sits in the catalog

At 0.194%, CA Chirag Chauhan sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,261 accounts in this comparison. That places it in the above the median band, which runs 0.143% to 0.678%.

Engagement rate as a share of followers, across the 205,261 accounts we have scanned enough to measure. The axis is logarithmic, because the top and bottom of this population are about 22,894 times apart and a linear axis would flatten everything below the median into a single point.

They do not show how this account performs at each hour: we keep one aggregate per account, not one per hour, so that measurement does not exist in our data.

Formats this account uses

Its own posting mix on the left, and what each of those formats does across every account we track on the right. Only formats where the effect clears our publish test appear here, so an empty row is a format we could not measure rather than one that does nothing.

  • 27% of this account's sampled posts carry an image or video. Across the catalog, posts with an image or video run 111% above the same accounts' other posts.
  • 4% of its posts carry a link off X. Across the catalog, posts with an outbound link run 41% below the same accounts' other posts.
  • Its average post runs 289 characters, which falls in the over 280 characters band. Across the catalog, posts over 280 characters run 15% above the same accounts' other posts.

These are catalog-wide differences applied to this account's own posting mix, not a measurement of how each format performs for this account specifically. We keep one median per account, not one per format per account, so the second thing is not something this data can tell you.

It seems there is no unity among CA on X. Hardly anyone has tweeted with the tag #ExtendTaxAuditdate Unless we unite, we won't see change. Post why you want an extension and use the tag #ExtendTaxAuditdate I can help raise your voice, but you also need to put in some effort by tweeting if you want an extension.

“The deadline that was broken before it began” Every year the same story: Tax Audit deadline extension demanded, government delays, then grants it at the last minute. This isn't a one-off ask, it's a structural problem. Here's why it happens EVERY year. Income-tax utilities and audit forms are frequently notified or revised late, sometimes mid-season. Audits can't be finalized against forms that are still changing, every delay in utility release shrinks the real working window, regardless of how efficiently the work is done. The same period also carries GST annual returns and TDS/TCS filings. These aren't competing tasks piled on one profession, they're statutory deadlines that were independently set without accounting for their overlap with the audit timeline. The real fix isn't asking anyone to do more faster, it's fixing the sequencing at the source: move upstream deadlines (ITR filing, utility release) earlier, or formally recognize 31 October as the realistic audit date going forward. @nsitharaman @FinMinIndia, Section 119 exists precisely for cases like this. Extend the deadline now, and fix the sequencing for good. #TaxAuditExtension #Sec119

ICAI representatives say it's the business's responsibility to request a tax audit due date extension. By the same logic, ICAI presents budget expectations to the government every year. Why? It should be the business's sole responsibility to do that! CCMs cannot shift responsibility to business houses! Anyway, CCMs should listen to SMEs CA practising firms! Are they? #ExtendTaxAuditDate

What is CA Chirag Chauhan's engagement rate on X?
CA Chirag Chauhan (@CAChirag) has an engagement rate of 0.194%, based on the median interactions across 48 original posts from the last 30 days against 130,824 followers. Replies, reposts and quote-posts of other people are excluded from that sample.
Is that a good engagement rate?
At 0.194%, CA Chirag Chauhan sits above the 50th percentile of the 205,261 accounts in this comparison. Those comparison accounts are all large ones, because our scanning cadence is weighted towards big accounts, so this is a ranking among peers of similar scale rather than a ranking across X.
Does @CAChirag have real engagement?
Its engagement rate beats 66% of the tracked X accounts closest to it in follower count (20,444 accounts), which puts it in the middle of its size range group. Ranking inside a size band matters because engagement rate falls as accounts grow, so a raw rate would mostly re-measure the follower count. It is a starting point for a look at follower quality, not a verdict on it.
When does @CAChirag post?
Most posts go out around 05:00 UTC, and Monday is its busiest day, at roughly 2.23 posts per day across the measured window.
